Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Christian County

Monique was great! She provided great instructions and made the whole experience very easy. The Airbnb was set up super well. It was very easy to find things and she had provided a lot of things that were nice to have like card games, snacks, coffee & tea, extra towels/linens/pillows, and a well set up kitchen. Lovely stay.

We had a great stay! Would definitely stay here again. The hosts were quick to respond and proactive to communicate other information during our trip. This was a peaceful location, yet close to Springfield for venues and restaurants.

Alta does an amazing job making the morgue an interesting and cozy place to stay! From complimentary snacks and toiletries to scary decor and ghost hunting equiment, she had it all. Whether you find the Historic Morgue to be a spooky stay or not, you will certainly find it to be a fun one. We definitely recommend it if you're looking for a really unique and well-maintained place to stay in the Ozark area.

Very clean and just as described. This was our 2nd time staying here. Wish the weather was better so we could have taken advantage of the hot tub!

We had a great stay! Close to everywhere we needed and wanted to be. This home is so lovely and tastefully decorated, inside you feel like you’re staying in a private resort.

Very comfortable space, had everything i needed for my extended stay. They are super friendly and very helpful. 2 times I saw deer less than 10 ft from the house go right by the window. I would love to come back in the future.

We truly loved our stay at this cabin. The setting is incredibly secluded — all you can hear are the sounds of nature, which made for a wonderfully peaceful experience. The property is very well-equipped, but one thing to keep in mind is that you’ll want to pick up groceries ahead of time. The drive can feel long, especially if you’re not familiar with country roads. It’s worth noting that the canoe shop wasn't renting canoes during our stay, understandably due to a personal situation with the family. It was not a major issue, but the current situation is something future guests might want to prepare for. The only small disappointment was the lack of body wash, which would have been a nice touch given how well-stocked everything else was. Overall, it was an amazing, peaceful getaway, and we can’t wait to return! Cheers! P.S — Purchase from the closet shop. This was such a surprise to our stay!! Thank you for adding this!

Nice house in a good area that is close to gas stations, grocery stores, and restaurants. Great views of sunset at night from the front porch. Has everything you need for a short or long stay. We would recommend staying here if you are in town!

The facility was absolutely beautiful and the home was awesome...well appointed, comfy, had extra treats, coffee pods, wonderful gas fireplace...all located in a beautiful and tranquill setting...this is my most favorite Airbnb I have ever stayed in and I will definitely be back when I am in the area! Mark was an awesome host, and was always punctual with any questions I had. He even accomodated an early morning check-out, as I had a super early flight, and took care of some things for me that I would have typically taken care of myself...OUTSTANDING venue, all kitchen utensils, ingredients, appliances, etc. were on site...clean towels, linens, etc. on site...washer and dryer with laundry soap and dryer sheets on site, which were very nice to have...other Airbnb's require you purchase your own...I only went to the grocery story once the entire week, as this Airbnb was so well stocked...beautifully decorated as well, and awesome country setting...I would recommend this to everyone!! :)
