We are blessed with no light pollution and the night skies are amazing and we enjoy an abundance of wildlife with curlews , hedgehogs , bats to name but a few.

Longmynd Cottage is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty perfectly situated for those who want great walking opportunities, families who like fresh air or writers and artists who require some solitude in beautiful surroundings. A lovely old country pub with good food and beer is 5 minutes walk away. Birdlife is abundant with Buzzards, Red Kites and a Woodpecker is a frequent visitor to the garden. There is no light pollution so stars are incredible and sometimes the Auroa is too!

Set in our 5 acre small holding with our ponies, chickens, ducks, sheep/lambs in spring. Modern, very comfortable and very clean. Sleeps 4, double ensuite room and double/twin room also ensuite. Outside area, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge. In a quiet village setting with two pubs serving food within a two minutes walk of the cottage. Free wifi, smart TV’s in bedrooms. Until recently Red House Cottage was run as a B&B but the owners decided to fit a kitchen to create a self contained cottage for self catering holidays. The cottage is on the side of our home.

Not suitable for babies or toddlers.

Location, location, location. It’s not that the Pottery holiday cottage isn’t lovely (our guests are very complimentary). It’s just that we know that the main reason so many guests return to the Pottery is simply because of where it is. The Pottery nestles next to the Longmynd, a 6,000 acre area of National Trust moorland. An area of outstanding natural beauty, the scenery and views are stunning. And you're just 5 minutes drive from the supermarket and amenities of Church Stretton.
