Holiday rentals with a kayak in Clallam County

The entire time at this lake house, all we could talk about was how we might be able to get our own place up here so we could come back again and again. It was paradise! And after staying on both ends of the park, this location (Lake Sutherland) was unbeatable. We woke up to the most majestic views of the lake through giant windows with low clouds hugging the trees in the mountains behind. It was an easy 20m to Port Angeles (which is the CUTEST town), right next to lake crescent, and tons of rainforest hikes (sol duc falls, ancient grove, and Marymere falls were our favorites). And only an hour and change to the beaches, there’s really no need to stay anywhere else to access the best of the park. The house was well set up for renters, with labels on everything, plenty of dishes and towels, tide pods, tea and coffee, even stuffed animals on the bunk beds! Kids loved the Pac-Man machine and we loved having a cup of tea by that giant window. Couldn’t ask for more!

This AirBnb exceeded our expectations. The decor and attention to detail is amazing. We loved the bear decorations and local Sequim decor. It truly is a “Bearadise”. The place was super clean and the views and outdoor spaces were amazing. It is also very well equipped with everything you need and more in an AirBnb. We were very happy with our stay and definitely plan to return!

Great stay. Perfect for a family getaway. Lake access with everything we could want to enjoy the water as well as the surrounding nature. Would 100% stay again.

What a perfect place to stay for visiting Olympic National Park and the surroundings! We had easy drives to Hurricane Ridge, the tidepools at Salt Creek, and Sol Duc Falls, and could come back and enjoy the hot tub and fire pit in the evenings. The setup was perfect for two families of four traveling together.

We absolutely loved staying here. It was the most peaceful Airbnb in the best community. We kayaked, got beautiful views of the stars, and had some beautiful sunrises. It was also within two hours of everywhere we wanted to hike in Olympic. The home was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. We hope to come back sometime! Thank you!

Well appointed lake front home with spacious decks and comfortable deck furniture. Centrally located to enjoy all the peninsula has to offer. Would highly recommend!

Nancy's place is in the perfect location to explore the North West Peninsula. But what really made our stay special was all the thoughtful little perks: Nightlights (amazing how many don't have this one!), Everything you could need in the kitchen including basics like condiments and coffee, games, bikes and kayaks, firewood! (and s'mores!), great instructions, plenty of room. Just a fantastic visit all around. We home to come back and stay a whole week!

Peaceful and serene location. Very comfortable house with thoughtful and friendly amenities. Private access to lake with kayaks and life jackets is an icing on cake. Thank you for hosting us, shout out to Kylie and co, they are very responsive and genuinely care for their guests.

Incredible location right on the lake. Beautiful mountain backdrop. Wonderful bird watching… eagles, swallows, mergansers. We fell asleep and woke up to amazing views each day. The sound of the waves lapping against the shore lulled us to sleep. The kitchen was a great space to cook all of our meals. And the location of the lake house was great for nearby hiking. We managed to take the paddle boards out and explore some of the lake. Was a lovely and relaxing visit. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

Clean, cozy space with beautiful views of the bay. We stayed in winter and woke up to a white winter wonderland and the studio had big windows all around to enjoy the views. Lydia provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out and was very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back in the future!

If you want a sweet little respite away from the rest of the world, this is an excellent spot. Cottage was squeaky clean and had gorgeous views of both water and mountains. The market was super helpful, and they have a great selection of VHS tapes and DVDs available to borrow for a blast from the past. Truly one of my favorite stays I’ve ever had.

This was exactly what we needed after our long drive from Colorado Springs. The cottages were welcoming, and peaceful. The bed was so comfortable, the host book telling of the history of the area as well as the previous and current owners was such a pleasure to read, it made all the difference to how we viewed the area as visitors to this hidden gem. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking to enjoy the coastline and the laid back atmosphere.

The space was awesome! Thought the big selling point was the hot tub but the massage chair stole our hearts. It was so lovely having everything we needed for a cozy weekend. The hot tub towels, robes and fuzzy spare blankets were excellent touches.

Dena's cottage on Lake Sutherland was absolutely fantastic! It is so quaint and cozy with a comfy bed. We cooked breakfast on the kitchen stove each morning, went for a hike, and then cooked our dinner on the outside grill and sat at the table overlooking the lake. It is one of those unique places that make staying in Airbnb's so special. We look forward to staying there again in the future.

Lovely spot right across from the beach, the hot tub was great and inside had all the amenities you could want! So comfortable would love to stay again.

Excellent place on Lake Sutherland for a family. Beautiful location on the lake with hot tub on the dock. Great location to access Olympic National Park and Port Angeles. Know that there’s 70 stairs down to the house which can be tough in the rain or dark.

Beautiful home on a quiet lake. Close to town, but feels like you’re way up in the woods. Well-appointed, tastefully decorated and comfortable. We hope to stay here again!

This is a beautiful, cozy home with an amazing view of the water and the sunrise. We spent a week or so working here after a road trip. Fast Internet and two standing desks & office chairs made it easy and comfortable to work from this Airbnb. Michael and Echo were very responsive throughout our stay - thank you both again!

We had a wonderful stay! The place has an amazing view of the lake. Lacey was incredibly kind, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions we had. Her hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.

Great place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Harrison's house. It is equipped and prepared to an extremely high standard. I have rarely experienced a kitchen with so many kitchen utensils. Plus the beautiful surroundings right on the beach. Harrison really is a super host! It was a pleasure to talk to him. He brought us fresh eggs in the morning. We have extended our stay and I definitely want to come back. Thank you for everything!!!

We spent a long girls weekend here- Every moment of our stay on was divine. The location was incredible, the path down to the lake absolutely breathtaking. Every detail of the home felt so well considered- from the hanging pot rack to the decor, to the hand painted florals on the paneling and tile. We stopped at pikes market along the way and so enjoyed cooking (and enjoying) great meals here. Spent lots of moments in the hot tub, coffee mornings on the dock, and even snuck in a few blissful hours on the canoe! Wonderful, thoughtful hosts, extremely quiet, quintessential community. We were appreciative of the location as we were able to spend a day hiking sol duc, checking out Rialto and Forks. Highly recommend a stay here!

This house is pretty and cozy. The view is stunning. The mountain looks different every minute. We spent a whole afternoon to relax and enjoy the view. The house is clean and has everything. The host always response in a short time and he gave us a lot of useful advice. Will definitely com back in the summer.
