Charming private Vashon beach cottage. Get away from it all, unless you need it all, in which case you'd probably be happier in downtown Seattle. There's beach access and plenty of quiet at night. You can hear the water, the marine life and the birds. Vashon town is about 7 miles. Plenty of restaurants and interesting small shops. Pt. Robinson lighthouse is a short beach walk away. These pictures were taken early summer but some guests enjoy the winter.
“Great location! My son and I enjoyed our short stay at the cottage. It’s an easy walk to the lighthouse and there is a private road behind the house the made for a scenic bike ride. Chip was a great host! He built a fire for us and brought out s’mores for my son. We would love to return some day!”

“This tiny cabin was very cute and clean! Elizabeth was super communicative, and the instructions for the house rules were very clear. We appreciated the beach access and had the beach to ourselves both days we went. Make sure you bring bug spray for those mosquitos!!”
This private, cozy cottage is perched on a hillside offering mountain and pastoral views to the west, with a private, custom waterfall bath and queen bed. There are 5 acres of mountain and sea views, extensive Japanese gardens, ponds, fir and cedar groves. This is a peaceful place for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and furry friends (pets). National Forest and Park trails are ten minutes away.
“I had the most lovely stay at Brian’s cottage. The cottage was beautifully decorated, cozy, comfortable, and so convenient for accessing Olympic National Park. The kitchenette included pots, pans, and other essential utensils so I could cook small meals. Also included a coffee maker and coffee grounds so I could make fresh coffee in the morning. The views from the cottage were beautiful. Brian was always quick with replying both before and throughout my stay. Would highly highly recommend Brian’s cottage!!”
