Holiday rentals with a kayak in Clare County

Wonderful home on Long Lake! Enjoyed our stay here last year so much our girls golf group all wanted to return. The house is well equipped and very welcoming. The outdoor space is great, everything from kayaks to fire pit, ready for use! The beautiful, huge upper deck was great for grilling and enjoying our meals outdoors, viewing lake activity and the new Edison light strings were stunning! There was plenty of room for our group of nine. Communication with Teresa was outstanding, quickly responding to our questions. Thank you again Teresa for accommodating our group!

We loved our stay here! The house was very nice and clean. It was a great visit with fishing, bonfires, kayaking and cornhole! Coffee on the porch with a view of the lake was very enjoyable.

I just want to say if you’re considering booking at Lynette and Rex’s properties 100% do it. It was so peaceful and relaxing but not too out of the way to the point where you could be bored. The property was gorgeous and was maintained amazingly with everything we needed. Lynette and Rex were some of the kindest people we have ever met and genuinely seemed happy to have us. The lakes are gorgeous and the scenery was great. If you’re from a metro area and looking for a great place to kick back and relax, this is without a doubt the home to do it in. I will absolutely be coming back and am excited for all the things we didn’t get to explore.

This was our first time using Air BNB and Carol’s home exceeded all of our expectations! She was super responsive to our questions. Check in and out was very easy. She had so many amenities that are often forgotten when staying the night away from home. Loved the location! Wish we had more time to spend here!

Sally and Charlie are excellent hosts and the property is fabulous. The Captains Quarters house is large and group friendly with room to spread out and a table that will handle unto 12(!!!) people around it. Fun times there with a beach (sandy!!) and swim area (with a raft). All beach toys are available for use (see the extensive list of what's available). We were made to feel right at home from the minute we got there until we left. Would certainly put this property on a list of future stays!

Great place, lots of room, super clean and amazing view.

We stayed here to visit family and we also wanted to do some skiing. We enjoyed being so close to the local ski hill, Snow Snake and also did day trips to Caberfae and The Highlands. It was perfect! We loved being across from the grocery store and so close to downtown! We went to Up North Coffee everyday and even placed a bulk order of their amazing mini cupcakes. We also loved the Jackpine Restaurant in downtown Harrison. The house was perfect! So clean and cozy!

What a GORGEOUS little adorable storybook-esque cabin!! My family and I got to reconnect during our stay at this cabin and it was amazing and has become one of my top favorite memories I have made in my whole life with family. Everything was just perfect and the amenities, linens, decor, surroundings, host, the cabin itself and every little thing our host thought of to include with the cabin just made our trip perfect and everything was too tier. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at such a wonderful little place that really felt like Heaven❤️ We definitely will be returning!!

The cabin is larger than it looks in the pictures. The fenced in backyard is large enough to spend time outdoors comfortably. We had 2 dogs and they were so happy in the yard, lots of room to play. Marissa had furniture covers already in place so I didn't have to worry about the dogs getting on the furniture. Beds are so comfortable we slept in every day. Switches are clearly marked so you know exactly what you are turning on. Overall it is so comfortable and relaxing to be there.

The cottage smelled so good and was very clean. Kevin was amazing and answered all questions and even worked with us when it was a last-minute same day rental . He gave great food recommendations too. The cottage had everything we needed and even had little extras that I feel like most people don't think of. Great weekend getaway. We would definitely go again.

My family and I very much enjoyed our Labor Day weekend at Debra's Cabin. The cabin is located in a quaint neighborhood on Long Lake. The privacy had us feeling as if we were "secluded up North". Debra welcomed me in person upon arrival and even offered to assist with my move in. I graciously declined as I was on a time constraint, but appreciated the offer. The Cabin was very clean with all described amenities in great working order; you could tell that she takes great care of this gem. The location was a perfect place to unwind and reconnect with family; we enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, reading a book in the sun on the dock and telling stories by the campfire. Furthermore, I was able to dock my fishing boat at the private dock and make use of the lake for fishing and recreational boat rides. This Cabin is a great value and well worth the stay. We will surely come back! Thank you Debra!

I stayed at Mariann's lake house for a month while working remotely. It was gorgeous. The lake is beautiful and remote. Mariann is an excellent host and made sure I had everything I needed for my stay, which was already provided in the house. I'd recommend this place to anyone and would love to come back!

We loved this cabin! It was perfect for us three girls to have a getaway. So great for some rest and relaxation time. The Swiss Inn down the street was also rockin! The host was also nice and instructions were easy! Will book again in the future. Thanks Christa!

My family stayed here for a weekend in October while we visited some relatives in the area. We came in from out of state and the property was so nice. Hector was very communicative and responded right away to any questions. There was plenty of room in the house and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you may need. The beach and lake were amazing, and they have everything you can imagine. Our kids really enjoyed it, and loved fishing off the dock too. The space was clean and it fit our family nicely. I will say that the beds are not the most comfortable, but they were fine for the most part. The views were breathtaking, and it was very serene and quiet. We will definitely be staying here again!

Mike was a kind host and the view was incredible. The lower deck was so relaxing with lots of chairs, shade and kayaks for adventure.

Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay special - would give more than 5 stars if I could ! The home was beautiful and had all the amenities for a wonderful weekend getaway 😌
