Holiday rentals with a kayak in Clarence River

A beautiful, spacious home that suited a family get together perfectly. All those extra special touches made it a perfect stay. A fully equipped kitchen, an amazing bathtub and so much room made for a great time away. The Pictionary game was an hoot and hopefully the laughter from this didn’t disturb the neighbours 🫣🤣🤣🤣. We had a great stay in Pottsville at Nicole's place. Lovely 4 bed home, easy to walk to the local tavern for dinner & a giant BBQ for dinner in one of the nights we were there. The pool was nice too. Great communication and easy check in / out.

We had a wonderful stay at sans souci beach house @ red rock. Thank-you for providing such nice dog friendly accommodation that suited the whole family. Walking distance to beaches and the Corindi river estuary. Lovely mosquito proof outdoor room, basics in the pantry and plenty of cooking utensils. Fantastic place to escape and spend a few days relaxing in the outdoors.

Absolutely beautiful home in a truly special location. The layout was perfect for our family, giving us plenty of space and common areas. Watching the sunrise over the ocean and the sunset over the river was a truly unique experience. The home is beautifully decorated, and has very comfy lounges! Dream kitchen too! Having a morning cuppa on the bench seat overlooking the beach and dunes was my favourite part. Thank you for having us 😄

Stunning property in a peaceful area, exactly as pictured. Our booking was for 3 couples. House was good size with space for everyone to not feel on top of each other. Comfortable beds and rooms. It was beautiful to hear the beach in bed at night. Kitchen has every appliance you could possibly need and more. Well stocked with glassware and plates for a big group. Access to a clear double lock up garage was a huge bonus! As well as there being power points everywhere inside and out! Easy 2-5 min walk to the beach and cafe. Nice wide paths in the area for a pram, walker or bikes. Host was great with communication. Look forward to coming back again..

A great house for a family or group of people. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed. Good hot water! Separate living areas if you were staying with a few people. Matthew was a responsive host.

We know this lovely area fairly well and had just cleared out our place nearby prior to settlement of its sale. Steve's place was a lovely place to stay after we had cleared ours out and it just suited our needs. We intend staying again as we will still be visiting close family in the area from time to time and Steve's place ticks all our boxes.

Loved our stay at Dave and Sallyanne’s! The property is beautiful and well situated to activities in the local area, or perfect to just stay in and enjoy the space. Dave and Sallyanne had many thoughtful touches throughout that made our stay very comfortable. It’s a great property to sit out (or in) by the fire, and the lack of light pollution means the night sky is super clear; we were even lucky enough to see two giant meteors whilst there! Overall a great spot, and we’ll definitely be back!

Even though it was raining during our stay, we had a lovely time. The extra things like blankets, fan, chairs, gum boots & umbrellas was very well thought out. We would certainly stay here again.

We loved our stay! The house was lovely — everything we needed for us and our little ones, beautiful surrounds and friendly animals. Julian was a great host, dropping off extra eggs and checking in with us through the stay.

We just finished our stay and had the best time! Was the perfect little getaway to end a trip after a week of camping. Was lovely and private, only 5 minutes drive from the town which was the perfect distance to feel as though we were secluded but still close to everything! Julie was a great host and everything was so beautiful!

It's a purpose built two bedroomed property, with the double bedroom and ensuite in a separate annex. In the main house, there is a kitchen/ living room, a bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. The dining table is outside on the wooden decking and there is covered outdoor seating looking down towards the river in the distance. There are plenty of toys for children, a swinging chair hanging from a tree, a trampoline, football net and a wooden cubby house. There are two properties in total in a large field, we stayed in the two bedroom and the other is one bedroom. There is a long single track driveway from Friday Hut Road, and the surrounding area is delightful and quiet. Byron Bay is under 30 minutes and the M1 motorway about ten minutes. We stayed for three nights and took our dog with us. We would book again.

When I found Rene's Cottage and went through the description and photos I fell in love with it. It made my day when our stay request was accepted. Nothing could prepare me though for experiencing this place in real life. The cottage is comfortable, provides everything you can possibly need and much more. I have honestly never slept in such a comfortable bed before and wanted to take it home at the end of the weekend. We loved having breakfast on the patio and evening drinks by the fire looking out over the river. It is however the whole place, it's location, rich family history, stunning nature and peace that it exudes that touched my heart. Our hosts made us feel right at home with their friendly and heartfelt welcome. We really appreciate that we got to know Margret and Maria a bit better as well. We couldn't have wished for better hosts. We will return to Rene's cottage and the beautiful Hastings Point, so see you soon Margret and Maria.

We had a fantastic stay at Bonnie’s property! The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and a peaceful creek running nearby — the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Our dog loved the open space to run and explore too. The home itself is clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay — from a well-equipped kitchen to a cozy living area. As mentioned in other reviews, there is another property next door, but it wasn’t intrusive at all. We still had plenty of privacy and quiet. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature with great places to explore within short distances and a scenic drive.
