Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Clay County

My family and I loved our stay here! It was a perfect spot for my 3 young kids to explore, relax, play and they loved the animals, especially Red (the sweet, old horse)! The house was better than expected, beautiful, cozy, clean (we loved the clean brand soaps and other household products, no strong fragrance or chemical smells, hallelujah)! It was an easy place to cook, bake, live in for the week that we stayed (the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc)! It was a peaceful place that felt tucked away from busy roads and chaotic cities…but still close enough to explore restaurants, shopping! Misty and her family were accommodating, kind, responsive and their daughter was especially kind to my boys and even let them help feed the animals- what a fun experience for them (and me!!)! Just an overall wonderful experience here!

This is the BEST. Airbnb I've ever stayed in. It's is perfect in every way. From the sweet doggy greeting to the impeccably clean condition of the home to the awesome fridge (IYKYK) to the beautifully calming fireplace. I could go on and on! Feeling so blessed to have found this gem!

Perfect location to visit family - we felt very much at home and the neighborhood is quiet and felt very safe. The beds were very soft and comfortable and the bathrooms were clean with plenty of amenities. Overall excellent location and wish we had some more time to spend using the additional amenities they have in the basement - would love to return!

Emily was very responsive and accommodating! Her home was beautiful and very clean, which made us feel right at home. It is located in a very quiet area, but just a short drive from downtown restaurants. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

We loved staying here! We originally planned on spending our days with family in the area but our kids all got sick so we stayed in more than we thought. We enjoyed watching DVDs and watching the snow fall. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

this place was incredible! extremely spacious and plenty of rooms/beds/bathrooms. The house was stocked with plenty of towels, shampoos and blankets. The outdoor scenery was extremely beautiful and peaceful as well. 10/10 would recommend.

The house was quaint but comfortable. I would stay again. Beds are maybe queens? Definitely no kings. You could hear the busy main road during the day but at night it was peaceful. Neighborhood felt safe. Great fenced in yard. Great water pressure and temp!

Our hosts were very congenial but not intrusive. The space was very comfortable and the location ideal. The lovely back yard had wildlife (birds, chipmunks, rabbits) to watch. Very nicely furnished apartment. We stayed 10 nights and highly recommend this airbnb to others!

Very clean. Chris was very responsive and nice. Had everything we needed. Building is under construction so a little noisy during the day. Very nice and helpful people that work in the building. We used the streetcar to get around and once we figured it out it worked great.

Great Stay, Great Location… No complaints at all. If I had any complaints, it would be that the bed is overly soft; but that’s someone’s preference. I would definitely book with Savannah again when I’m in KC, if available.

This truly is a luxe lodging. Tami and Ryan have done an amazing job with renovating this historical building, making it look classy and modern while retaining some historical touches. The neighborhood is very quiet. It was lovely to listen to birdsong rather than traffic in the mornings, but it's still only a few minutes' drive to restaurants, museums, and other attractions.

This was my second stay with Jaymi and I'm sure I'll be back when visiting KC. The space is comfortable, clean, and bright. It really feels like staying in your own shabby-chic apartment and the location is perfect for getting to lots of KC destinations. Add in blooming lilacs in the spring and front-porch cats to pet and it was the perfect place to stay for our concert at the Uptown.

Loved this rental and will be back! Clean, great location, super comfortable bed and nice shower with good pressure. Hosts were great with communication and the rental had everything we needed plus more. Thank you for a great stay!

This place was exactly as described and a great stay for me. There is a coffee shop just a short walk away and it's in a very nice neighborhood. I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay.

Denise's place was the perfect spot for us while in town for the Big 12 basketball tournament. Easy access to everywhere we wanted to go. The location offered nice, easy parking, and Denise's directions for arriving were very clear and easy to follow. Denise was very friendly and communicated very proactively, even taking time to give us a quick tour as we arrived. The space was perfect for what we needed; two comfy beds, a very tidy bathroom and kitchen, a living room area and very neat decor throughout. What more could you need! We will definitely look to stay again when in Kansas City.

I stayed with Sharon for a wedding, she is very kind and helpful. I felt comfortable leaving my dogs there seeing how many other dogs were staying there as well. Her own pups are quite sweet.

Awesome place. Exceeded our expectations in terms of location and overall stay. Great spot for a family getaway or a small to medium group (6-8 people). Would highly recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and peaceful space. Rylie curated a comfortable, home-like feeling and everything was as described. She was super easy to communicate with and always helpful and clear. We loved the Cabin Under the Moon and would gladly return.

We loved it here! This tiny cabin is in a beautiful and peaceful location and the Meg is a wonderful host. We would definitely stay here again.
