Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Clinton County

Wow, what an amazing experience. Michele and Kate's Airbnb is even better than described -- it is spacious, warm, and luxurious! The kitchen is incredible and had many condiments to use, and the bathrooms are pure luxury with so many extras such as bath salts, toothpaste, etc. The views out of every window are spectacular. The beds are comfortable, and the decor throughout the house is beautiful. It's clear this is a well-loved home turned into an Airbnb. Kate was really warm and helpful when I had questions. This Airbnb is a real bargain looking at all that it offers, and I am hopeful it will be available the next time my family is in the area. Thank you, Michele and Kate, for making our holiday special!

We had a wonderful time here for our Christmas week to celebrate. The home was very open and cozy with plenty of space for everyone without feeling like we were separated from each other. Our favorite part was the fire pit, easy to get to and big enough to have a large warm fire safely. Very nice place and definitely recommend!

Great place to stay the weekend! Kitchen was well equipped

My husband and I had 4 wonderful days at Chris's beautiful new cabin (so much more than a cabin!) right along Pine Creek. The house is so clean, comfortable, and light-filled, and Chris has furnished it with quality and care. Loved all the throw blankets on the sofas and chairs..so comfy in the evenings! We sat on the deck or down by the creek and watched bald eagles fly by every day. It was super easy to get onto the trail to ride or walk. It's just across the road, and there is an opening in the split-rail fence at the spring. We really lucked out on the weather, and there were still a lot of colorful leaves on the trees this late in October! Pine Creek is a favorite spot for us, and Chris's cabin will surely be our new 'home' when we visit! Thank you for being a great host, Chris!

Came down with family for a hunting trip, and had a great stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Convenient location. Host was very responsive. Would stay at again.

What an incredible place to stay! This is a big old house with lots of wonderful surprises--a kids' nook with great toys, books for kids and adults, a s'mores kit in the larder, interesting art, great outdoor space...everything you could possibly want. There's even a cabinet with a sign that says it has antique serving dishes from the 1800s, and guests should "feel free to use any of these items." I have never felt so strongly, staying in an Airbnb, that the hosts were clearly deeply kind and lovely people. The house obviously means a lot to them, and we felt right at home there.

Really great stay on Pine Creek. The home was very comfortable, and larger than I’d anticipated. All the furnishings were newer and quite comfortable - leather couch, recliners, chairs at the table, etc. evoked a masculine cabin feel. The bathrooms were lovely…the master bath had a pebble floor - lots of neat details throughout. I liked the Armstrong and Wyeth prints - tributes to PA painters. Kitchen was well-equipped and cozy. There was a dining room table - which I used as I painted….it was a great height for artwork! We ate all our meals outside on the porch. Outdoors there were rockers on the porch, and Adirondack-type chairs around a fire pit. All perfect for that cup of coffee while you ease into the day. I didn’t sit on the front porch, though there were chairs there as well. The real attraction was the creek. It was wonderful to have that access - for fishing, wading/swimming, and kayaking. Just spectacular. Our dog was in heaven with the water, and land to roam.

We loved this Airbnb!!! It was wonderful.. the amenities listed were all there plus more! The kitchen was wonderfully stocked for cooking meals for 8+ people and there were so many places for us to hang out and do activities!! We ended up going around mid/late March and there was a burn ban so we were unable to use the fire pit which was alright and it was bear season which made us slightly uncomfortable being outside, but otherwise it was an amazing stay and we had a blast celebrating my boyfriends birthday!!!

Patti was a joy as a host. From excellent communication to having the nicest, cleanest place I've stayed. Really awesome experience. Will absolutely return. 5 stars. No negative comments. Literally perfect.

Great accommodations to enjoy a PSU football weekend. The locations was close enough to the stadium for an easy commute. The property was well appointed with everything you need for a weekend away! Yancy was a great host!!

My family stayed with Gail for the weekend as a homebase for the Penn State game. Our hosts and the downstairs apartment were beyond welcoming and lovely. Gail has thought of everything. If there was a choice to be made she always makes it in favor of her guest. From clear labels and instructions, to snacks and breakfast foods, to thoughtful amenities in the bathroom, every detail was cared for. The beds were very comfortable as well. As far as the surrounding area, we didn't explore much outside of her neighborhood but there is a beautiful nature park within walking distance of her house. We enjoyed a really nice walk there and we're very impressed with the love and attention that goes into the park. Check it out if you can! Overall, we couldn't have enjoyed our visit more, we highly recommend Windridge!

Super beautiful area! Gregg is super helpful and responsive. He got us in last minute, let us extend our stay, and even shoveled the driveway for us to be able to go into town. Plenty of beautiful state parks near, and the mountains are your backyard. Cute kitty that roams around too. 10/10 recommend!

Had a wonderful stay. Came for a a short getaway for peace and quiet and that was exactly what we had. The cabin met our expectations and more. Very clean cabin. Would highly recommend and looking forward to coming back.

My friends and I had a great stay at Mark's and Missy's cabin. The cabin is beautiful, and the host provided detailed instructions for the house and great recommendations in the area. They also communicated very well. I would definitely stay there again.

The Timberland Lodge exceeded our expectations for this trip. The property is beautiful and peaceful, the home is spacious, and the kitchen works great. I thought the place looked even better and bigger than the pictures. The Host was very nice and responsive, and Check in was easy. The living room is awesome. Pool table and ping pong was fun. Even though it was freezing outside, we stayed very warm in the house.

The place was clean, well-furnished, and stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was easy and straightforward, making the entire process smooth. A comfortable and hassle-free stay, highly recommend.

Great stay. Great extras: tv with connection so I could watch the Steelers, fun toys and games available, kitchen well-organized and very clean. A great destination for the rail trail, and super close to Little Pine state park. Also, a 30 second walk to a restaurant for food or carry out beer, and a country store that has lots of helpful stuff. The host was also very responsive to questions I had.

My girlfriend and I had a great getaway at Courtney’s place. The bridge was very unique and the hot tub and fireplace made the stay very cozy. Nearby town had a parade during Christmas season and many small Christmas shops to explore. Would highly recommend.

Have stayed at Julia's place twice. Repeat customer says a lot! Place was perfect for our group of 4 to explore the Pine Creek area and ride the rail trail right outside the door. Julia is extremely responsive too which is always appreciated.

Great place to stay if you're a hunter. We were in town for a wedding. Not exactly what i expected. But the place had plenty of room and 3 usable bathrooms. It was clean for the most part. We had to take our trash with us which was unusual. The scenery was beautiful. world's recommend for campers and hunters.
