If you are a nature lover who enjoys a country, somewhat rustic-style home, this is the place for you. It wasn't easy to find (don't follow Waze's directions...), but we finally found it with Michealyn's direction. We didn't have time to enjoy the garden since we were busy every day with activities (Semuc Champey is a MUST!). But if you have more time on your hands, it is a great place to relax with nature outside your door. a few tips to make the stay better: The dogs are friendly, but after the first night, where they barked all night long right under the bedroom window, my advice is to ask to take them off the premises for your stay. The host easily did it. If the internet is down (which happens every few hours), unplug it and plug it back and it will work. Ask the host how to get the hot water in the shower (it's a little trick). All in all, Michaelyn was quick to respond and the housekeepers were a great help as well.

We stayed for two nights at Claudia’s home. We went to Semuc Champey and we all felt like this was a good place to be. The drive from Guatemala City was manageable, and the time to Semuc Champey from Claudia’s home was a pretty easy two hours. It was nice that we returned to a home with hot water and electricity (you won’t always find places with that near Semuc Champey). It was also close to some nice restaurants and easy to get to town. We would be happy to stay here again.

We loved the house really is a comfortable place, quickly the person who gives the keys is very friendly. We liked that in the kitchen there were truffles that are useful. We didn't feel like At Home, thank you. We would choose this house again

The host and their children are very friendly. They sent staff to help us lower our luggage. notes they accepted with four dogs, they gave us directions so that they could spend it quietly and without any inconvenience. In addition, there were farm animals nests and they made us do it in advance to be careful for the dogs. The place was very safe

Wonderful outdoor space! We loved the pergola with the kitchen and a sitting area. We felt right at home. Waleska was very helpful with recommendations and even drive is out to see the tea cooperative. Highly recommended!
