What guests are saying:“This place is absolutely amazing!! It is right on the lagoon and you can watch sun rise straight out from your balcony or even better, your bed! The deck chairs and swings in the pics are all private for those staying in this complex and it’s totally worth it if you’re coming to Bacalar. The bed was absolutely divine too, probably the best bed we’ve been in (ever!) Definitely stay min 2 nights you won’t regret it. We never met Gabriel but his communication via WhatsApp was good. The only thing we didn’t like was his overt requests to tip his house keeper (twice). Whilst she was lovely and we appreciated her help with check in, his requests made us feel it was an obligation rather than a choice. We don’t come from a tipping culture and although we understand the importance of it, we think it should be for great or exceptional service. For example, we didn’t get any local recommendations and could barely communicate as she only speaks Spanish i.e. we weren’t offered anything above and beyond a standard service. This is not to say we expect any of the above whatsoever, but moreso we are questioning the rationale for tipping and whether it really is a choice (or has any correlation to service).”

What guests are saying:“The place is simple but very sufficient for the needs of any traveler, the parking is on the street but there is no problem since it is in front of the house, the kitchen has what is necessary to cook and eat at ease, the bed is very spacious and comfortable and the TV is quite large, the bathroom is clean and we leave what is necessary for bathing, the bikes are a very good plus since it is very easy to explore Bacalar by bike and very fun ... it has wifi and from the At first they offer you the numbers to be in contact and they always answer ...
