Open year round, this spectacular 5300 sq ft log cabin is a 1-hr drive from Grand Junction Airport. Nestled in an aspen grove overlooking Vega Lake, the cabin sleeps 16 total guests (all children/adults included) and parks up to 8 vehicles. Wildlife abounds and the lake is full of trout (some up to 5 lbs). Outdoor equipment is offered free of charge (see amenities) to enhance your stay. An expansive covered deck has a propane grill for BBQs and there is an outdoor fire pit for fireside evenings.

It has the traditional furnishings of a hotel room – queen bed, table with chairs, refrigerator, and microwave – but no television, running water, or indoor bathroom. It does have an outdoor kitchenette and bathroom facility. Best of all, it has spectacular views!
