Purcells@Knockdrinna, charming cottage in village

EmmaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had such a lovely stay at this charming old Irish cottage! The host was fantastic – super friendly, great with communication, and provided clear instructions that made everything easy. The cottage itself has a rustic, rural charm, with a cozy stove and logs thoughtfully supplied – perfect for relaxing in the peaceful countryside setting. It was also dog-friendly, which was a big plus for us. One of the highlights was the warm welcome: we arrived to find homemade scones, butter, and jam waiting for us – such a thoughtful touch. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, authentic escape

Experience a friendly stay Galway Countryside

LynneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Staying in Martina and John‘s cottage was one of the highlights of our travels through Ireland. They were both so warm and welcoming and helpful in procuring reservations during a very busy time. Each morning the most delicious picnic basket was delivered to our door. What a treat! Hard, boiled egg, granola, homemade bread (baked by John), croissant, yogurt and to top it off a French press coffee.Martina’s warmth and enthusiasm made us feel as though we had made new friends! We do hope to return one day!

Ardcarne Lodge, Lough Key

ElizabethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A lovely home, suited our needs well and allowed for a perfect location to explore the northwest of Ireland and the Wild Atlantic Way. The nearby Garden Center and lunch spot are highly recommended and within a 5 min walk from the property. Brian sent along wonderful recommendations for activities, restaurants and shops. Excellent communication and quick responses to any query we had. Highly recommended Brian's home!

Hidden Gem Cottages - Orchard Cottage

JoelRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a brilliant stay 2 night stay in the Orchard Cottage (4 adults and 1 toddler), which acted as our base to spend time Fermanagh over Easter. Peaceful and quiet setting with cosy vibes inside it felt like being right at home. The welcome basket on arrival was a nice touch, and our 2 year olds response this morning for breakfast was, she wanted some ginger cake so it was definitely a hit! Brilliant cottage to unwind and would definitely recommend this place to others. Seamus and Eileen are great hosts!

Stayed here for a night and absolutely loved it! Isabella was very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed upon arrival. The place had everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Isabella gave us fresh eggs, which were absolutely lovely! Adorable lambs greeted us, adding a peaceful charm to the whole experience. It’s a lively, warm, and inviting spot—we’ll definitely be back for a longer stay next time!

The Stables Kiltanon House Tulla Clare V95 A3W6

ThibaultRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We were looking for a place to stay for two nights on our way to Connemara and were so lucky to come across this picturesque and authentic gem, surrounded by beautiful nature. Our hosts, Paul and Joan, were not only kind but truly warm and welcoming. Joan was especially lovely—she even came by to light the fire stove for us when the evening got chilly and kindly lent me a phone charger adaptor. We absolutely loved our stay in this charming, peaceful, and well-maintained place. Highly recommended!

Bunk 'n' Barn (min 10 people)

AnachieRating, 5 stars25 months ago
Booking was a breeze. Contacted the hosts beforehand and they were extremely helpful in narrowing down a date and a check-in time. When we arrived, Dermot was there to greet us and showed us to our place of stay. He made sure that we felt welcomed and if we needed anything at all, not to be afraid to give him a shout. Dermot helped us with organising a take-away and also with setting up the fire and heater. Area was beautiful and peaceful with stunning views of the Ox Mountains range. The barn was far bigger than I expected, with lots of room and everything you could need. Overall, was a very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend it.

The Granary House, on the shores of Lough Arrow

ThorstenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This place is truly special, both in its setting in a mature countryside meadow on a secluded peninsula in Lough Arrow, as well as in its conversion into a wide and open and full of light living space, with furnishing that are both practical and in harmony with the setting. Mir and Araceli are very welcoming and friendly hosts that are happy to advice on any subject, whether related to the listing or where to go. Due to its remoteness the place is very peaceful and tranquil, but a car is a must. We chose this place to find some peace and quiet in order to recover from a stressful period, and it far exceeded our expectations ― we will definitely be back.

The Weaver’s Barn, Ardara Town

SeanRating, 5 stars6 months ago
This was a phenomenal place for myself and 2 young adult. So centrally located for several short drives. Super convenient to get to the Marghera beach caves, the Kilcooney Dolmen, Assaranca Waterfall and the Ardara Distillery is a must and only 8 minutes by foot. At night it’s super close to fantastic and warm pubs. Nancy’s is a must and it’s literally in the backyard. As close as all the pubs are it’s comfortably silent in the “Barn”. The nostalgia of being in a refurbished barn isn’t lost even with the beautiful renovation. It was overly spacious for the 3 of us but that isn’t a complaint at all. My kids enjoyed being on a separate floor from me when they grew tired of my adult annoyance. I absolutely loved “The Barn” and I will definitely be back. As a photographer it was an absolute dream space and location. I’ve referred several friends already and I’m hoping they invite me!

The Barn.

JackRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We spent a great week as a family of five at The Barn. The space is comfortable, warm and clean, and the setting is lovely. It’s a great place to explore Clare, Limerick, Lough Derg and Galway, and beyond, with plenty of day trips within driving distance. The renovation of the barn as a holiday home is really well executed and you get a real sense of the project, with photographs etc detailing its progress. Zita was an attentive and communicative host.

The Old Post Office Cottage

NadiaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I’m so unbelievably glad that we ended up staying here. Christopher’s cottage is a very quick jaunt from Ardara, a lovely village with excellent food spots and all the essentials, but the real beauty of the location is the view of Maghera beach and the Assaranca falls. Our breath was taken every time we left and returned to the cottage. The cottage has a huge kitchen, and it is well stocked with cooking equipment- we were able to whip up dinners and hot breakfasts with ease. The rooms were spacious (and I think very charming and attentively decorated). Not every “authentic Irish cottage” is cozy, but the radiators and the fire in the main room kept us toasty as winds blew and rains fell. I had read that some people weren’t thrilled about the presence of some centipedes that found their way into this old cottage, while we did see a few, they are obviously harmless and we all merrily cohabited! I would love to return, and Christopher’s visitors’ guide has given me many ideas!

Old Head Seaside Cottage

CaoimheRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had the most incredible stay at Paul’s recently renovated cottage in Old Head , truly the nicest place we have ever stayed! The cottage was the perfect blend of modern comfort and cosy charm. It was spotless on arrival and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Paul and his wife were the perfect hosts ,so helpful and genuinely friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with a stunning view of Croagh Patrick and a beautiful beach just a five-minute walk away. Waking up to that scenery every day was something special. Every detail in the cottage was thoughtfully done, and it’s clear a lot of care went into the renovation. We can’t recommend this place highly enough and are already dreaming about our next visit!

Queenies lodge, a stunning getaway, Co Kilkenny

TeresaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent our first 2 nights in Windgap while visiting Ireland and we certainly would have loved to stay longer. The accommodations were as pictured. Beautiful rooms, cozy fireplace, well equipped kitchen where we were able to cook Easter Sunday dinner, and the grounds were gorgeous. Plus, my children loved the animal visitors! We found a lot to do and see in the surrounding area as well. Highly recommend!

Sadie was the best host that you could imagine. So kind and caring, and thoughtful, with a basket of homemade goodies to greet you. The little cottage is so well done out and Sadie has thought of everything that you might need. If you want to 'get away from it all' plus enjoy true irish hospitality then this is the place for you!

Rose Cottage Ennistymon/Lahinch, Co. Clare

NaritaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Irene created an inviting space and comfortable experience for our stay. Space was thoughtfully stocked (laundry detergent, coffee/tea, feminine products, shower supplies, sweets in the fridge). Irene also provided detailed information about the cottage. We experienced smooth and rapid communication, along with a flexible check-in experience as we faced delays in our itinerary prior to arrival.

Katie Ann's Cottage (close to beach)

LisaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a beautiful and peaceful location! If you had a favorite Irish grandmother to visit, this would be her cosy cottage. The setting is gorgeous, in the middle of green fields with sheep and cows for neighbors. Great for walking and close to a lovely beach. Easy to access all the beautiful places in County Sligo. Would definitely stay again, we were sorry to leave. Thank you Tracey and Eilish!

Romantic space in quiet woodland setting-Westport

TimRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Danny's condo is very well laid out and the trails to walk along from his garden were amazing, a particular hit for our two dachshunds running up the hills with us. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice cozy base for exploring the area and will be back when we are next in the area.
