The 300 acre property shares a 2.5km border with the Grampians National Park and backs onto the stunning western escarpment of the Mt. Difficult Range. The farm house includes 4 bedrooms, 2 living spaces and 2 bathrooms. A breezeway connects the living spaces to the sleeping spaces. Some of the best walks in The Grampians are a short drive away (Mt. Zero, Mt. Stapylton, Hollow Mt., Zummsteins, McKenzie Falls).

This cosy Finnish cottage was lovingly imported and built by its owner. On the first level is a fully equipped kitchen and dining area and a cozy lounge room with a stone fireplace at its heart. Off to the side is a generous sized bathroom. Up the stairs is a mezzanine level which has 2 areas separate by a curtain. There is a master bedroom area with a double bed, hanging space and chest of drawers. On the other side of the curtain is a bedroom nook with 2 single beds. Outside are 2 verandas.

The apartment sleeps up to 4 adults with a queen sized bed in a separate bedroom, as well as a very comfortable queen sized sofa bed in the huge lounge area. On the far side of the Grampians, nestled in stringy bark bushland on the edge of Rocklands sits Yangoora. Once home to farmers, bee keepers, rose growers and tree changers, now yours to enjoy. Settle on the deck as the red necked wallabies shyly appear and native birds splash and natter in the coolness of the birdbath. Kayak the clear water, try your hand at catching a fish or wander the dirt track to explore and be captivated by the bush.

The cottage is light and airy with full picture windows facing the mountains, this includes the main bedroom. A deck also allows outdoor access of the same views. It is fully self contained and you do not have to share any part of it with others not in your group. Both bedrooms and the lounge room have reverse cycle air conditioners, and ceiling fans. Fast WIFI is also available at the cottage, perfect for those working away from home.

The Shed Bed

The Shed Bed is situated in natural bush. It is peaceful and private. The Shed Bed is small but clean and tidy. As you turn off Haynes-Edwards Road, our track winds through native bushland. Keep going up the drive to the house, not going left to the sheds, the Shed Bed on the left of the house. We have a pup called Cobber. He is a great pup, but he can be boisterous. Let us know if you aren't keen on dogs and then we can tie him up.
