Kilcoe Cottage

DanielRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Kilcoe Cottage is a comfortable, spacious house that suited us perfectly. Sharon and her husband were very helpful and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable without being intrucive. Barty the dog is also very friendly and welcomed us every time we arrived. The layout of the house is lovely, with open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge area and a useful seating area. The Skibbereen area is well worth a visit, with it's beautiful countryside and coastline, along with it's fascinating history.

Muddy Cottage, Ballincolla, Union Hall

MatthewRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a lovely week at Muddy Cottage. Perched on a peaceful hilltop overlooking the beautiful water at Union Hall the location is beautiful. We felt at home straightaway, with plenty of space for a family of four. Despite being very secluded, it's a just a walk down the hill to a good coffee shop (Nolans), pub (Dinty's), lovely restaurant/bar (The Dock Wall) and handy store (Centra). We spent our time exploring the area, stunning scenery and so many beautiful beaches and views. We enjoyed: - A bracing walk on Long Strand, after fish and chips at The Fish Basket - The windy views from the Baltimore Beacon - Exploring the local towns of Skibbereen and Clonakilty - The golden sands at Barley Cove Bay - Anakista Bar (the tin pub), with beautiful views and a great pint of Beamish on the way to Sheep's Head - Space and time to relax, without the crowds of some other areas So much more to explore next time!

Absolute peace and open with sea views

DenisRating, 5 stars8 months ago
"Ait mo Chroi" ( Where my heart is ) is a fantastic getaway location. The house is very clean, spaceous , bright and airy, secluded, and very well equipped. We would recommend it to family and friends It is a bit off the beaten track. A car is essential to get to shops, restaurants etc. We had a car and bicyles. We are leisure cyclists, and enjoyed the quiet country roads. We know the area very well. It was very frustrating that a bye road, shown on the OS map and we have cycled down in the past, is now inaccessible, gated and overgrown. This has greatly increased the distance to the local beach.

Room - Mountain View Double/Triple-b’fast included

TarahRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at Paudie & Anne’s B&B for 3 nights and were very happy with the accommodations. We were happily greeted by our hosts and felt well taken care of. We enjoyed a lovely homemade breakfast every morning that fueled us well for our adventure for the day. Paudie even runs a private tour company that offers various trips around the area. We decided to go with his ring of Kerry tour and loved every minute of it. He even took us to the Skellig ring to see the beautiful sights that you can’t typically see when going via tour bus. Staying with Paudie and Ann you get a lovely taste of Irish hospitality and we would highly recommend this accommodation to any of our friends and family.

LAHARANDOTA - The Artists' Studio

VictoriaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
Me and my partner (plus our two baby chihuahuas) had an amazing getaway, we booked the Studio for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday, but extended our stay up for 8 nights. We immediately fell in love with the place: it’s so unique, peaceful and cozy. You can see how much effort was put in this property. We especially loved the bedding: pillows and duvet felt like softest clouds. I also personally loved how well equipped was the kitchen: lots of nice cutlery, plates and tea/coffee sets were so cute. There’s also a lot of DVD’s, a nice set of board games and a mini library. We spent our evenings playing checkers and domino and watching some good old movies. Julie is a such a nice person and an amazing host - easy to communicate with, helpful and so quick to reply. Loved how much information we had about the surroundings: hike routes, shops, cafes. Thank you so much, Julie. We will definitely come back :)

The Stables, Barn Conversion

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hester & Peter’s accommodations was one of the best that we’ve ever stayed in, even for our short stay. Their place was peaceful and pristine with comfortable seating/beds and many thoughtful amenities (e.g., throws, towel warmer, well-stocked kitchen). Although we didn’t meet Hester, Peter welcomed us with local food and travel recommendations and then started a fire for us. We even got a welcome and recommendations from the neighbor, Donal, and his lovely pup, Lily ❤️🐾 Both check-in and check-out were flexible and easy. Thank you for a wonderful stay; hopefully our paths cross again!

This is lovely house in a quiet area surrounded with trees. The home is very spacious and was perfect for our family to spread out. It had everything we needed- big kitchen, washer and dryer. Carey was very friendly and helpful. He responded quickly to any questions or needs. The location is wonderful. A short drive into Killarney restaurants and also easy access to ring of Kerry and other sights in Kerry. Thank you!

Castle Freke Estate, The Stable Cottage

KarenRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We loved everything about our stay. The cottage was very ample, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. We had so much space! We loved the dogs, goats, sheep, horses, donkeys, cows, and cat The walk to the ocean was marvelous and we loved walking along the beach. The grounds are amazing: castles and a beautiful family church from years ago. But the best were the people! Kristina and her family were so welcoming and helpful to us; we really appreciated them!

Millstream Barn in woodland next to beach Kinsale

ZahraRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful time at the Barn. It’s a magical place right by the sea. Only a short walk to the beach. The sound of the stream next to the barn is so relaxing. Such a space place. Will be coming back.
