Holiday rentals with a fire pit in County Offaly

Had a wonderful stay while working at Electric Picnic. The hosts were very flexible with checking in. Very welcoming and warm. The room was 10/10, so comfortable. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Thanks so much for a memorable stay.

Perfect for what we were looking for. very comfy and clean bedroom. Great to have a private ensuite with lots of little toiletries. Fiona goes over and above with a little mini fridge for milk and yogurt, pain au chocolates and tea/coffee facilities. We were at a Wedding at the County Arms down the road and it was a handy 2km walk, no need for taxi (luckily because none were available..)

My husband and I came to Ireland wanting the true authentic version of Ireland. To do that, we came to Athy. Michael's airbnb is not only lovely but perfectly situated in a quaint town close to train stations , grocery stores, businesses, and pubs. I didn't realize coming here that I would receive more than just a standard airbnb stay. I expected the wifi, laundry, and such, but what I didn't expect was the love, kindness, and graciousness of Micheal. Our first morning we awoke to a thoughtfully prepared breakfast of porridge; He even bothered running to the store to buy oatmilk to accommodate our diet. Then he gave us a tour of the town and local pub, Clancys. During our stay we traveled through much of Ireland searching for all the raw Irish experiences we could find. From Dublin, to galway, our best adventures were found right here with Michael. He has truly become part of our family and it has been our pleasure and honor to stay with him. AirBnB needs to come up with a term beyond Superhost to describe a host like Michael. I had such a lovely stay at Michael’s house in Athy, he was so generous with his time and took me to many scenic places around the area when we were both free. He and his son David are extremely attentive to guests, they picked me up from the station on multiple occasions and also made sure I had everything I needed at the house. Michael also made a delicious porridge each morning! I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a rural retreat in Athy. It was also very easy to get to Dublin from Athy so the house offered both country comforts with access to the city. I will definitely book this house again when I’m next in Ireland. Michael is a very friendly host, always available for his guests. He really takes care of you and does his best to make you feel comfortable. He showed us some places around his house (historical sites, walks...). He likes to interact with people. He dropped us to the train station when we needed to and to the grocery store too. The house is spacious and often cleaned and you can find anything you want (especially in the kitchen). We can only recommend him to you. Thanks Michael for your welcoming ! Maël and Louise.

I couldn't have asked for a better host. Michael went above and beyond what anyone would expect out of a host. He is extremely helpful and always checks in with his guests to see if they need assistance. I absolutely recommend booking with Michael.

Great stay! Everything was as described and the host's were fab. They really couldnt do anymore for us. Initially worried about sharing a home with our two small children but they felt right at home and hosts made it very easy for them. Would totally recommend. Donatas was an amazing host! He was so so responsive and checked in with us a couple of times throughout our stay. He cleaned out our tub and got it ready for whichever time we requested - the tub was the highlight, absolutely beautiful!! The pictures are amazing online but seeing how beautiful the place is in person is just unbelievable. It’s so peaceful hearing the sounds of water and the birds. The place was also spotless and super cosy! Will 1000000% be coming back here, so sad our stay is over already🥹 but will be back and some of my friends have already booked! 10/10 overall💛

The place was stunning, the photos almost don’t do it justice. I was with my family of 6 and had plenty of room. The lounge is really spacious with a big TV to put some music on. The place is easy enough to find & only about 10 minutes from the town centre by car (just be careful taxi timings if you’re out late) I was only here for one night so didn’t get to take full advantage of the space. If I come back to Edenderry I’d definitely stay here again! 😀

Uve was so lovely and was really nice to stay there couldnt do enough to help! highly recomend to anyone looking for a romantic night away hot tub was unreal 😊👏 will be back !!

Villa Jokubas was brilliant. A lovely and peaceful spot, Darius was so nice and looked after us very well. The villa itself was very nice and very comfortable. We loved the home brewed IPAs and the hot tub! Would absolutely recommend, and will probably be back ourselves again!
