Holiday rentals with a fireplace in County Roscommon

A group of mums and kids (age 6-11) had a fabulous stay. The house is perfect for a group or large family. The house was perfectly set up with lots of amenities in the kitchen so we were able to cook proper meals. The garden was great for the kids. The area had a lot of places to visit though would recommend having a car as the house is a little way from pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Caroline and Patrick's! Even though the weather wasn't great, there was so much for us and the kids to do! The pool was fantastic, basketball, tennis, etc- something for all of us. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. The bed linen was so soft and the mattresses very comfortable. The indoor fire was also very special. We were so grateful for our stay, and can't wait to visit again! Simply can't recommend enough!

Such an amazing place. Our second time here and will definitely be returning. We had a little family getaway and this is perfect for us. The house is outstanding and so peaceful. Lots of space indoors and outdoors and slept twelve people quite comfotably. Currently sorting our next visit here.

We had a great stay. Spacious rooms, clean and had everything what we needed.

Anne, was an excellent host and went above and beyond for our stay, her home was pristine clean, the bedrooms were extremely comfy. Anne even went as far as stocking the fridge with milk, bacon, sausage and bread. More than we could have ever asked for.

Fabulous house, suited us perfectly. Plenty of space to relax & unwind. Lots of comfy bedroom, with main bathroom x2 and en-suites. 2 beautiful living rooms and a fab kitchen. Everything was so clean! The location was perfect for us, within walking distance to beautiful restaurants and pubs. Huge Benefit was parking spaces behind the house! Denise was a lovely host very responsive to messages and flexible with check-in. Would highly recommend and we will stay again!

It’s an ideal location to stay in Castlerea, close to all the local amenities and places of interest. The house is fantastic and fits all our needs and more. We were travelling with my 88 year old father and the single level was perfect. Susan and Paul were perfect hosts. We will return.

Kathleen was an excellent host. The space was spotless and finished to a high standard. The wood burner was a unique feature, perfect for the winter evenings. The full length bed was a welcomed comfort for the taller guest.

Lynda is probably the best host you could ask for! And the space her & her partner have made is so extremely cozy. The coffee was wonderful, the breakfast was delicious, and the recommendations Lynda gave were spot on and made our visit in Athlone perfect! I was kicking myself for not staying longer because it was one of my favorite places my partner & I stayed - and most of that had to do with Lynda !! Also, the location was fabulous- such a close walk to Sean’s bar, the castle, and all the food places we could want. Plus, Lynda’s shop was super well stocked and made me wish I lived in town to make it my main grocery & coffee spot 💕

A lovely modern apartment in a great location to explore county Mayo and beyond

Sandra was a great host. Her house was well laid out with everything we needed for our stay. She was very warm and welcoming. It’s a short ten minute walk to Athlone’s downtown area. Highly recommended.
