The lavender is in flower from around mid Dec before getting harvested in Feb to make essential oil.

Enjoy breathtaking views overlooking the Dargo valley. Winter mornings are special here – watch the fog clouds roll over the hills and meander through the valley. Please be aware that from June to December the Dargo High Plains Road is closed. This means you can't drive from Mt Hotham to Dargo on that road.

All bedding/towels etc. supplied. Guests interested in accessing Mt. Buller for the snow season, mountain biking, bush walking or just taking in the wonderful scenery will find this location ideal. Our cosy waterfront cottage has magnificent views across the lake and the Glenmaggie Creek. This two bedroom cottage is well equipped and perfect for all seasons; including a fireplace and air-conditioning. The extensive deck overlooks the water and provides an elevated outdoor area for relaxing, cooking or daydreaming. The cottage is located on a quiet, exclusive crescent away from crowded areas, with a boat ramp and safe swimming area close by.
