Cottage holiday rentals in Cushing

Really enjoyed our stay here. The views were lovely, the lake was refreshing, the beds were comfortable, lots of kitchen stuff, and the showers were hot. The house mostly has what you need. It could use a few more dish towels and bath towels. The long drive to Acadia got tiresome.

We enjoyed our weekend away at Mayya’s guest house! It was the perfect size for the two of us and we felt there were more than enough amenities to ensure our stay was cozy and peaceful! The add on of the hot tub was much needed and appreciated as well as it was getting chillier at night and it was the perfect addition! I would have liked to take advantage of the walking trail but the weather was rainy so we didn’t get to. We would definitely stay here again for a couple days and thank you Mayya for being a great host!

What a cute cottage with absolutely everything one would need Killer view

This was our second time staying here, my family and I love the tranquility of this little piece of heaven. Christopher’s home was beautiful, clean and well maintained.

Cozy cabin with nice amenities. The space was small but perfect for two people looking for a place to sleep after a day of hiking. Comfy bed and clean space too. We loved the common spaces in the main home as well!

Fantastic spot. The cabin is so well equipped and squeaky clean. Maggie has thought of everything! Walkable to town in minutes and private. There are even glimpses of the sparkling ocean. 5 stars!

The cottage was beautiful and comfortable, and the setting was gorgeous. We were very comfortable there and would definitely go back! Carlos and Karen left very helpful and thoughtful local recommendations for food and activities. This place is a gem!

Our group of 4 had a wonderful stay here. It had everything we needed and John was extremely helpful. We cooked several meals and visited nearby attractions.

Elizabeth was a wonderful host and her home is perfect for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. The house was spotless, well appointed, and very cozy. The short walk to the beach and town market is really convenient. Her rental is a perfect home base if you’re visiting Portland or exploring the Maine coast nearby.

We loved our experience at our cozy, stand alone cabin. The room is spacious and has everything you need. We would stay again for sure!

What an amazing setting! Right on the water. We saw seals, osprey, and, we think, an eagle.Also the most beautiful sunrise. The house is cozy and comfortable and really really clean. We found everything we needed and some thoughtful extras. Tamara is an excellent host!

This Lakeside Retreat was a perfect weekend escape for two couples. In late September, we seemed to have the pond to ourselves and enjoyed sharing time around the firepit overlooking the lake. The Bathroom was spacious and one level up from the bedrooms downstairs. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare an excellent meal. I would highly recommend this cabin to a a small group of friends or family looking for a great location near Portland and Lake area attractions.Our host Bobbi was very responsive.

My husband and I spent 6 days here for our anniversary. I wanted a location on the water and close to visit all the major coastal towns in Maine. This was perfect! The home, felt like home, and everything was clean and beautiful. Adam was very helpful whenever I had any questions. Sipping coffee every morning on the back porch and watching the sunrise over the lake was so peaceful. Grocery store close by and great hiking/walking areas right out the front door. Can’t wait to come back and bring the family.

We were very comfortable in Ann’s home. It is quite beautifully designed and furnished. Very quiet in the woods. The home was very functional too; it had everything we needed and was easy to settle in. It seems that Ann has given a lot of thought to what her guests will need - way more than what one would expect.

Beautiful space, convenient to mount desert island. Comfortable for three couples and our dog. Unlike many airbnbs felt like an actual home (which it is!) and was great for cooking big dinners. We hope to come back soon!

Beautiful cabin in quiet and peaceful surroundings. Closes to attractions and multiple small towns with things to see and discover. Michelle and Dan were great hosts, everything we needed was in the cabin! They had a book of area things to do. They answered right away when we texted. I would definitely recommend their place!

We arrived late in the evening, and she went out of her way to make check-in as smooth and welcoming as possible by leaving the lights on for us—such a thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel at home. The Airbnb itself was spotless—immaculately clean and clearly well cared for. Every detail was thought through to ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay. The outdoor fire pit was a highlight; it was perfectly maintained and made for some cozy, memorable evenings under the stars. Vianna also provided fantastic recommendations for local restaurants and activities in the area, which made exploring so much easier and more enjoyable. Thanks to her tips, we had some amazing meals and got to experience the best the area has to offer. Overall, this was easily one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had.
