The Canal House

Our little getaway sits on a canal that leads into Lake Conroe. The marina at the lake offers jet skis and boats for rent. Our house comes with a canoe and a kayak. It also offers fishing in the canal. Very quiet, serene place with lots of beautiful birds. We particularly like to sit on the back porch and watch the egrets fly by or the ducks swimming in the canal. Perfect place for respite and recharge, or ramp it up and go jet skiing on the lake. Or both! This is a non-smoking home.

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. A Viking-inspired getaway complete with porch, shower, bathroom, kitchen and a full-functioning sauna! This mini-apartment is in the top section of a barn and you may have to duck your head. There is a queen-sized bed and an additional mattress for someone else if needed. Quiet bedroom with king sized bed & set of twin bunks . Separate entrance through garage provides privacy. There are not shared spaces, but the guest suite is connected to our home.
