The old house at Solnes Gard

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents got the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from about 1950. We live in the other part of the residence ourselves. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in on the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life when we are in full employment and have four small children.

Studio apartment over garage

Studio leigheit with kitchen and own bathroom with washing machine. Simple standard, but all equipment for the kitchen and linen is available. Central in Flekke, 3 km from UWC. 250 meters to grocery store with simple cafe. Playground in kindergarten nearby. Short distance to beach, fjords and mountains with nice hiking areas. 8 km to the municipal center Dale. It will be our pleasure to help suggest activities in the area. We live in the house close by and it is possible to borrow a cot and enough toys and equipment if desired.

Modernized cabin next to the fjord

This recently modernized cabin is located in Hellevika in Fjaler, just 50 meters from the fjord. The original part is an Ål cabin from the 1970s, while the extension with a bedroom and bathroom was recently completed. The plot is sunny with a great view of the Dalsfjord and the sea gap. In the photos in the listing, you can see among other things the popular hiking destination Alden, also called "Den Norske Horse". In summer, there are many great swimming areas nearby, including on the pier just below the cabin.

The cabin is situated on a farm at Helle in Sunnfjord, in a beautiful scenery at Førdefjorden. It has an amazing view to the fjord and the majestic snow top mountain with a glacier. It lies close to the fjord and a small beach. Perfect place for hiking, fishing and relaxation in a rural retreat. Nearest supermarked is in Naustdal, 12 km from the cabin, and local cafe/shop is 10 min away. Free WiFi in the cabin. Motorboat for rent (summer season). Self service farm shop with fresh eggs!

The hiking opportunities are many; the Great horse, Lisjehsten, Dagsturhytta Skaraly, hunting opportunity, swimming in the fjord or in the mountain water. Enjoy the relaxing and comfortable atmosphere of the Birdbox. Warm, close to nature and peaceful. Lay down and sleep right besides nature and the amazing surroundings. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. You have the main cabin with two bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom. Guest cabin with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. In addition, large outdoor living room in old style of 25m'2. Grocery, fuel and center in Dale about 25 minutes away, convenience store 5 minutes from the cabin. There are also great hiking opportunities in the area You can use the motorboat for free, and you can fill up the fuel yourself if it is empty.

Holiday idyll by the sea

Cozy boathouse in scenic and rural setting with the fjord and the mountain just outside your bedroom window. The boathouse is located right on the water. On the ground floor you find a room for recreation, and the second floor consists of a decorated apartment with modern standards. The second floor also have a porch where you can enjoy the morning sun while sipping your coffee. The pier is spacey and presents good opportunities for fishing, sunbathing, swimming and barbeque.

The village Balestrand offers fishing trips and fjord tours by boat, rental of kayaks bicycles and cars.
