Pet-friendly holiday rentals in De Fryske Marren

We stayed in this lovely cottage for a week in early April. It is located on a marina, surrounded by water and meadows, we enjoyed the wide view and sat a lot in the wind-protected seating area. Overall, the weather was much better than expected, and when it got cold, the oven made the living room very cozy for us. The house is large, beautiful and functionally furnished, with eight people we had enough space. We will be happy to come back!

Stayed here for two nights with my kids. We loved the house! Very fully furnished, everything was present in the beautiful kitchen. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time!

Accommodation top, Mirko was always available and friendly, only the water is hard to fish when it's about spinning….

The house was as described. Stayed here with 4 adults and a dog and had plenty of space. It was very clean like the bathroom and floors and there was no dust to be found. Also in October we could enjoy the terrace. There are also fun games, books and movies available. From the house you can walk in Lemmer or towards the Brekken. Nice host Evert is very pleasant in communication.

The people are very friendly and attentive. The place is even nicer than in the photos or description. Inside it is beautiful and super clean. Outdoor furniture and terrace meets expectations. As far as we are concerned, recommended

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

We really enjoyed the Christmas holidays and the turn of the year in your beautifully decorated house. We felt like at home from the first second. Decorated with a lot of love for detail, even with a decorated Christmas tree, invited you to linger - whether at the large dining table with many board games or in the cozy sitting area by the crackling fireplace when reading a book. The property located directly on the water is also wonderful for watching nature and birds at sunrise or sunset or taking beautiful walks in the area with the dog and visiting small towns. During our stay we lacked nothing. Paul was a fantastic host who proactively responded to open questions within minutes. We also had the opportunity to check out later. The house is the perfect place to get away from the stressful everyday life and unwind.

A "home!" during vacation! We enjoyed the chalet as a family (dad,ma, two teenagers and dog). The cottage has everything and more we also have/want at home: modern furniture, TV, dishwasher, washer and dryer, well equipped kitchen with oven, induction cooking etc etc. It is also suitable for the colder days with the central heating, air conditioning with heating and the pallet oven (very cozy too). Rijs as a base is also very good, the campsite is located on a beautiful forest , the IJsselmeer is within walking distance and at Hotel Jans you can eat delicious food. Thanks for this wonderful home during the holidays!

Kaya's mobile home is tastefully decorated and everything was hassle-free. Even now in the fall it was nice and warm and comfortable. We were in Warns with a two-year-old child and a small dog. Thanks Kaya! Goy family

It was our first stay at this property and arrival, as well as check-in were straightforward and quick. Everything was clean and appropriately furnished. Since we arrived in the low season, everything was very empty and private in our area, which we really liked. The campsite itself is one of the most beautiful and comfortable we have ever experienced. A nice restaurant, a boat and bike rental are included and a great swimming pool with slides and play area. We had a great week and definitely want to come back. Lovely accommodation with all the amenities you need. We felt very comfortable. Everything was clean, tidy and the amenities in very good condition 😊 Communication was super straightforward and we got a quick response to everything. The area offers a lot to explore and the campsite is a good starting point for excursions

We had a wonderful stay at the Schakel villa. It had everything we needed and although we were unfortunately pretty cold most of the time, it just felt good to be in this wonderful vacation home and to be able to look directly at the water from the living room. The kitchen is wonderfully equipped and small beach walks made the stay perfect. We would have liked to try the sauna and the boats, but unfortunately we were too sick for that. Everything was in top condition and very well described. The communication went smoothly and the house is very lovingly decorated. Thanks so much!

We loved it. The stay completely exceeded our expectations! The tiny house is just super cute and cozy. There is a lot of attention to detail in everything. The tiny house is located on a small campsite with farm, which is why you can watch sheep and the sunset from the bed window. For little money, Annemarie even prepares a wonderful breakfast in bed. We highly recommend staying there!

The house, garden och the village was truly wonderful. My and my cat loved it. The hosts were great.

Lovely place right in the heart of Joure. You can find everything you need in walking distance. We felt very comfortable and especially enjoyed the great breakfast. We can recommend Nynke's bed and breakfast without hesitation. Thank you! ;)

Location, and overall house great. Kitchen was a bit small as in picture, for soap, toilett paper or towel you should bring your own. Jan was helpful and very responsive.

We booked the place for 1 week & were very satisfied! 6 bikes were available, plenty of sleeping places & a super nice garden where we sat every day! When we arrived in the accommodation, someone explained to us exactly where we can find the keys, etc. What we also loved was that the owners Wolfgang & Matrina had their house right next door & went on vacation ourselves, which is why questions were answered quickly on site but also via messages! Overall, we had been more than satisfied for the price. Thanks to Wolfgang & Martina for your trust! Kind regards ☺️
