Tenthuis Duinzicht Texel peace, space & privacy

Our Tenthuis is, completely free, at the back of our private property, a former agricultural company, in a magnificent spot on Texel overlooking the dunes where you can see the Scottish Highlanders grazing in the distance. The tent house is made on an old agricultural car with a wooden skeleton with tent canvas. The reuse of materials was used as much as possible during construction. For extra space there is a front tent, with a wood stove. Luxury camping with an ultimate outdoor feel.

We, a family with 4 children (10, 13, 16 and 18 years), have a holiday home next to our house with its own entrance and parking space. The cottage is within walking distance of the charming village center, just like the beach (approximately 500m from the cottage). 750m away is a beautiful hiking and nature reserve the Zwanenwater. The park de Watersnip, in which our MEERZEIT is located, also has great leisure facilities (pool, etc.) available to our tenants & guests.
