The property is very cozy and special. The decor demonstrates great attention to detail. The house is stylish and very well appointed. The beds are very cozy and sheets and towels are very convincing and pleasant in quality. The view is beautiful. The garden is also very nice and certainly great if you can enjoy the sun outside even longer. Our dog felt very comfortable. You are close to the beach and the area is fantastic for dogs anyway. But you can also walk directly from the house and don't necessarily have to take the car. Unfortunately, my friend was allergic to something in the apartment. However, we couldn't really figure out what it was, maybe the beautiful fresh flowers that Marion and Annemiek greeted us with in the house:) The house is a rarity. I would spend my vacation there again at any time. A dream for people and dogs:) Mega recommended :)

We really enjoyed it! A hidden paradise in Texel. We were with our daughters of 4 and 2 years old, who had wonderful days. All space to move around for the kids. Between the beautiful flowers, green grass, plants, the chickens, a cat and with Monique in the garden, what a coziness! The garden has sun all day, so you can enjoy every moment of the day outside (with nice weather of course). The cottage is very cozy and has everything you need. Monique is a very sweet hostess, our children felt right at home. We'll be back here next year!

From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home—every detail was thoughtfully curated, and the space had such a warm, welcoming energy. Our entire family loved it, but the real stamp of approval came from our dog, Cooper. He was in heaven! The outdoor space was perfect for him to explore, and it’s not often we find places that are truly dog-friendly in both spirit and setup. It made our trip even more memorable knowing he was just as happy and comfortable as we were. We (2 adults, 3 kids, 1 dog) stayed just before Easter for just under a week in Martha's beautiful and very cozy accommodation. The property is very quietly located in the park. The property and the accommodation itself are very clean and well maintained and left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities. Martha always ruled very quickly in a friendly manner to our inquiries.

We spent 3 nights at the Highlander house with 2 kids and we loved it! It's so comfortable and homey, realy had all we needed. The garden was so nice, and the kitchen super handy. Nice books and games. Comfortable beds too. We spent some time in the park but mainly explored the beautiful area around, by car and by bikes. Highly recommend.

Our stay with Karin was really nice. We immediately checked when we can come back:-) Karin is great. She is very likeable, always available, answers quickly and has given us good excursion recommendations. The path to the beach is short and the surrounding places are easily accessible by bike. Our daughter especially liked the trampoline in the garden.

We had beautiful days in the middle of the colorful flower fields, close to a nature reserve and the North Sea and absolutely quiet! Coby was very nice and quick to communicate. Everything was super clean in the property and nothing was missing. We loved staying with you - thank you!

We were in North Holland for a short trip with our dog. the check-in was flexible, Hans and Anita very nice and the place very clean, well equipped and warm. We were able to make nice excursions! Gladly come back.

A wonderful place with lots of privacy, equipped with every comfort and it had a very nice atmosphere, every time we returned to the cottage. It was really a home for us for a week. We greatly enjoyed the location close to the beach. You can park your car well and you can drive your bikes into the garden in no time. Safe for children and tranquility for adults. We really enjoyed the cottage. Everything was clean and it had everything you need. The kids especially loved the great big garden. The beach was easy to reach by bike, but is also easily accessible on foot. The communication with Svenja was super friendly and the response time to questions was totally fast. We can definitely recommend the cottage.

A beautiful, small cottage with everything your heart needs. Great, very well-kept garden, in a quiet location and yet you are quickly everywhere, by the sea, in small towns, etc. If you are looking for a break by the sea and in a lovingly furnished ambience, you will find just the right place here. We felt very comfortable and would be very happy to come back!

Our delightful house for rent this summer

We were now in this great house for 7 days and felt very comfortable. Communication with the landlady was excellent. The broken coffee pod machine was replaced within half an hour. This is also a great service. The house was clean and quiet with a parking spot in front of the door, in a great park. The property is completely fenced with a 1m high fence. Our 2 dogs were able to romp and also the passing ones;) The bathroom was age-appropriate and clean. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable. All around a great holiday. The stay in the bungalow was very pleasant and everything you need is there. The kitchen is very well equipped! The accommodation is very quiet and by car or bike you can get to the beach very quickly. Apart from a small supermarket, there is nothing nearby, but since we cooked a lot ourselves, that was no problem for us. I highly recommend this place.

Cozy cottage a few minutes walking distance to the center of Bergen. Ideal location to visit Alkmaar and Bergen aan Zee. Close to the forest. Very friendly and helpful host. We'd love to come back!
