Holiday rentals with a patio in DeKalb County

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so quiet and peaceful. It was so cute and very close to main st. I would most definitely book again. She was a wonderful host.

Brad’s place is great!! I would certainly stay here again! Brad was a great host, very responsive & even helped with a last minute favor I asked for. The apartment is an eclectic place, above the old shop building. A beautifully decorated place that is nicely kept & very comfortable. Thanks again for your hospitality Brad! Hope to be back soon.

We loved our little weekend getaway in this beautiful space. It rained which we thought would dampen the mood, but the huge windows made it such a vibe & even more when the rain stopped & we had the best view of the most beautiful sunset ever. Thank you Jon for such a wonderful place!!

I have to say, hands down, this exceeded my expectations. Normally, I would just book a hotel especially when traveling by myself but I went out on a limb! It certainly helped that the reviews were great! What exceeded my expectation was how COMFORTABLE the bed was!! It clearly was almost a new bed and I did not realize how much this helps with travel. Normally I stay at a hotel, great ambiance, nice staff and then you get to the room to find it’s a “crater” bed and my sleep is usually horrible, but not with this stay! I got some of the best sleep. Ananda was so accommodating, offering food, tea and coffee and he was SO responsive! Even his live plants made me feel at home! The room had a lock and a bathroom en-suite which was great. I highly recommend this option to those who might be tempted to go with the usual hotel but consider the fact that you are saving money AND getting a better night sleep with a more comfortable bed — what could be better?!!! My husband and I stayed at this lovely home for an extended time and fell in love with the area. The view was gorgeous. We took daily walks in the countryside. We sat on the screened in porch and got our work done. We found it very restful, peaceful, and a great place to unwind. The host was very responsive and we had all we needed. I recommend this beautiful place for anyone looking for a great getaway.

The host’s driving directions were perfect. Check-in was easy. The house was great, especially the game room and hot tub. Full kitchen for cooking with plenty of cooking and eating ware. Great hosts and quick responses. They even left the kids some hidden Easter eggs to celebrate the holiday. Will definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Comfortably slept 9 adults. Lots of stairs but to be expected in the mountains. Loved the view from the hot tub!

Very cute home, Very comfortable beds, and we really enjoyed having s’mores over the fire pit.

We are repeat customers, place works great for us. We are just looking to hang together so perfect for that. Pool was nice place was clean and location is extremely peaceful. What more would you want.

We could not have asked for more! The owners are wonderful and we stopped by their country store for lunch on Saturday. The sandwiches and homemade desserts are out of this world. The lodging was spotless and had everything we needed to relax and unwind. The hot tub was wonderful and although it rained 90% of our time there we enjoyed spending time under the back covered porch. Big thanks again and we look forward to spending time at yalls place again down the road.

We loved the house. Very clean nice little house. My wife and son really liked seeing the horses and cows while we were there. Will definitely be staying there again.

Great place! Very clean. I would definitely consider staying again if we vacation in the same area. We appreciated having two common rooms for our extended family to stay together, nice bedrooms and extra sleeping spaces in basement common room, and good # of bathrooms. The deck was a nice place to sit/rock and enjoy the peaceful winter days (when warm enough). Basement (2 bedrooms and baths + a common space) was cold but mostly taken care of by quality space heaters. We liked being able to walk to the small marina and through the campground loops. Extremely quiet area during our winter holiday visit. I imagine there is more action in the summer (lake) months. Thanks for a quality stay!

I was in Cookeville for work and the place was very close to the office. I like places that have a full kitchen so I can cook. This place was great for that. Very quiet neighbors. I would definitely recommend Marshall’s apartment.

We had a great few days at Sonya's condo. These condos have some of the best views on the entire lake, and her condo may have the best view in the complex. We love the location to the marina (1 mile), so it's quick and easy to get on the water. There was plenty of room in the place for our family, and the community pool was a nice benefit when we just wanted to relax and catch some sun! I would say the pictures were accurate (except the view in person is better), and Sonya was great to work with.

Valerie's place was just what my husband and a couple of our friends needed when visiting a friend in Murfreesboro for the weekend! "Amazing host, would definitely stay there again!"

Was just what we needed while attending a four day dog agility trial at the nearby MTSU Livestock Arena. Would certainly stay there again.

We had a great stay at The Getaway for my nieces wedding. The home was exactly like the photos and the interior was clean. It was a very nice home and the craftsmanship was top notch. The walk-in shower in the master bedroom was nice and big and the bed extremely comfortable. One side note…if you are not a tall person, you may need some type of a stool to get into bed as the bed sits very high. The bedrooms do not have televisions in them, but that was not an issue for us. There is a large television in the great room which was perfectly fine. The views of the mountains and the lake were breathtaking. The home was very much worth the fair price. Thank you Mark for opening up your home and being so responsive in all communications.
