Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Del Norte County

I would Definately use Kenton and Oceana’s place again! Beds were super comfy, luxurious feel, and so were the couches! Gorgeous views, everything you need in the kitchen. lots of extra towels, a few games and books. Loved the personal touches…Kenton’s artwork and fly fishing theme. This place is private and quiet with the sound of the ocean and the stars clear overhead, yet you can easily reach all the go to destinations (ours were mostly hikes and beaches) in a very reasonable drive time, less than 30 minutes. This really is everything I would have asked for and more in a BnB on the California coast!

Joyce's place was spacious, very homey, and immaculately clean. The hot tub felt fabulous after our long days of hiking and exploring. Not only are there so many extras provided in the house, but all the drawers and cupboards and closets are labeled with what they contain, which saves time searching. The kitchen had everything you could want. The washer and dryer were really nice to have. The garden area in the backyard is totally private. Although we didn't sit outside (super windy during our stay), it was a pretty area for soaking in the hot tub. Joyce was very communicative before and during our stay. Joyce's a super place and I would highly recommend it if you need a place to stay in Crescent City!

Great space to use as a base for the area! The homemade jam was delicious and available amenities were great. Joel provided clear instructions/directions and was available though we didn’t have any questions.

The house was clean and neat. We had a great view of the ocean and it was within walking distance.

We were looking for a location near the beach, within walking distance and this spot was perfect. Our side window looked directly over the ocean. Heaven! I loved all the little things Susan did to make us feel at home. At check in we had bananas, granola bars, microwave popcorn and coffee available. Inside our unit she had pancake mix, syrup, coffee and tea available. We felt like we stepped back in time with what appeared to be a former motel turned into individual rental units fully equipped with a kitchenette and back porch. Susan’s detail to lovely decor similar to my mom’s 70’s home was endearing. If you’re not looking for glammer and glitz but a comfortable, affordable beach front stay, this is a perfect spot.

Sea Escape is an amazing experience at an incredible price! The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are high quality, the shower is clean and very efficient, and the owners are friendly and helpful. The best part of all is the easy and quick access to a wonderful beach that is pristine and where you feel like you have the whole beach to yourself. I am very pleased with my experience and I plan to return! Brent

We absolutely love the Sea Escape. we have returned many times, and have never been disappointed. This time we rented all 6 rooms to host family members to stay at for a destination wedding in the Redwoods. We had group meals at the picnic tables, with food cooked on the grills and in the rooms. We had all the cooking equipment, plates and silverware necessary for these meals. Susan was gracious, and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. We will be back, as will our family members. This little gem is not fancy, but it is always clean, quiet, and welcoming. you can't beat the view, the beach access, and the proximity to the big trees.
