Castricum aan Zee is rich in hiking and cycling routes in the dunes, forests and bulb fields. And our North Sea beach is easily accessible by bike. It also has a train station with Intercity connection. Alkmaar and Central Amsterdam is 20 minutes away. Cafes and restaurants are widely available in beautiful Castricum. A large shopping mall and supermarkets are open 7 days.

The Studio is one nice space, in which you will find a living room (digital TV with Netflix and YouTube), bedroom & kitchen + separate shower & toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped, with fridge, combi-microwave, cooker + (bean) coffee machine with cappuccino option. A lovely studio with a spacious living room, private (separate) bathroom, sleeping loft (note: narrow steep staircase) and private outdoor terrace with seating and parasol. The studio has a spacious kitchen counter with various kitchen facilities. The studio is remarkably light through the many windows. Please note: due to the narrow and steep stairs to the sleeping loft, it is not suitable for the elderly or disabled.

The rooms are ideal for travelers who want to enjoy the tranquility and the wonderful nature of travelers who are passing through. The surroundings are perfect for discovering several beautiful places in the Netherlands. Hoorn, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Volendam and Amsterdam are all within half an hour driving distance. You are fifteen minutes to the IJsselmeer and with half an hour to the beach.

Cozy, complete, clean, stylish, that's what our guests often write. The B&B is suitable for 2-3 people. Spacious living room with private shower and toilet and private entrance. Beautiful upper floor with a lovely box spring. In the living room, a nice sofa bed. Good WiFi, smart TV, Nespresso machine, coffee maker, milk frother, kettle, fridge, combi microwave and kitchenette (no cooking facilities). Gourmet, wok, etc. are not allowed. Breakfast is not included in the price.

At the end of a dead end road at the bottom of the dyke overlooking the "Eilandspolder" nature reserve and a 5-minute walk from mill "de Havik" is hidden between the reed and right at the ring cruise holiday home "De Smid". 30 min drive from Amsterdam Noord. 30 min drive from the North Sea beach. Free Two canoes to sail. Towels/ tea towels/ bed linen/ pans/ cutlery/ pepper & salt . Double bed (extra 1-person fold-out bed for child up to 1.65)
