Our home is a lovingly renovated weatherboard property, retaining 1950's features characteristic of Maydena, but with all the modern conveniences you'd expect to make your stay amazing. Enjoy sun filled bedrooms and living areas with views of our beautiful private garden and the mountains beyond from every window.

Post House Cottage - 10 Minutes to Mount Field

Accommodation located within 10 minutes drive to the spectacular MOUNT FIELD NATIONAL PARK. Cottage was built in the early 1900's in the picturesque Derwent Valley. The cottage is set on 13 acres and is private with your own fully fenced yard. We give you your privacy but if you need us, we are close by to assist. The cottage makes a welcoming break between Hobart and Strahan. Cottage caters to children over 12 years of age only.

Huon Burrow- Underground, WaterViews

The Huon Burrow is a unique underground dwelling nestled into the hillside with amazing views over the Huon River within easy walking distance of cafes and restaurants at historic Franklin in the Huon Valley. The Huon Burrow has half a metre of material on the roof composed of soil, gravel and insulation on top of a waterproof barrier, then 20 tons of concrete and one ton of reinforced steel.

Part of the Sassafras Springs Estate in Ellendale - Raspberry Cottage is named for the raspberry pickers who worked on the farm when it grew fields of raspberries. Cosy and rustic and beloved of honeymooners (spa bath) as well as families. Guests love the organic vegetable garden, the peace and quiet and the great rainforest walk.
