Welcome to DTJT (Downtown Joshua Tree) your much needed High Desert escape. Our newly renovated homestead cabins rest on five acres of magical landscape. At DTJT you can swim in the 50' salt water pool, soak in the hot tub, hang by the firepit, hike, bbq, rekindle, stay up, sleep in, stargaze, explore, namaste it up, dance it off, soak up the sun, howl at the moon, listen to the owl, feed the roadrunner, take an outdoor shower, crush it at corn-hole, and yes, we have Wifi and cell service.

It seamlessly combines luxury w/ mid-century design and has been featured on the cover of the LA Times Home Section and in many books and magazines. A stay here is like staying inside the park, with unparalleled 360 degree desert vistas.

Within walking distance from the center of town, it's perfectly situated on a quiet street amongst the trees, buzzing with blue jays and hummingbirds. Curl up by the fireplace and enjoy surround-sound tunes, or have a spa-like soak after hitting the nearby trails. As a creative couple ourselves, we designed this space for romantic getaways and creative retreats.

We are a 10 minute drive to local hot spots, & less than 15 minutes to downtown Joshua Tree. The cabin sits on 5 acres with 360 pano views, dark stargazing skies, breathtaking sunrises + sunsets, and endless desert beauty. This cabin was reimagined for those looking to reset and reconnect to their wildish nature.

Mockingbird Cabin is a nature lover’s haven nestled up against a hillside on 2.5 private acres. This is a great spot to relax and recharge, while still being close enough to all the local attractions.
