Holiday rentals in Diamond Beach

Hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us as we weren’t able to check in on the reservation date due to a storm across the island. They graciously allowed us to check in the following day at no extra charge. We are so grateful and look forward to staying again in the future!

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! Beautiful home with beautiful scenery. Very private location with great access to nearby attractions. The kitchen had every possible item needed and Sigurjóna was a fantastic host.

The cottage is absolutely beautiful, a perfect little house with amazing nature all around. Nice and secluded and it has everything one would need. You can even hike around in the canyon behind the house a bit, and the view when driving out from it via road 209 is absolutely breathtaking. Jona is a great host aswell with quick communication and detailed, easy to understand instructions on how to get to it. I would 100% stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Cabin 9! The house was just as depicted in the photos—charming, cozy, and situated in a beautiful and peaceful location. Agusta was very responsive to our questions, and a standout feature was the instruction book in the house—hands down the most detailed and well-organized I’ve ever seen in an Airbnb, which made settling in much easier. One thing to note for future guests: trash disposal requires a trip to Vik, about 30 minutes away. While manageable, it was a bit of a challenge on the day of departure with a fully packed car. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. On a few clear days, we had magnificent views of the glacier from the house, and we saw the magical northern lights on our last night. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

We were two couples staying in a 2 bedroom unit and it was lovely! Everything was super clean. Kitchen had the basics we needed to cook dinner and breakfast. We did our groceries at the Netto within Hofn which is just a 5-10min drive away. And best of all, we saw the northern lights! The stay is remote enough to be able to take wonderful pictures of the northern lights without too much light pollution. Overall had an amazing time. Highly recommend!

The place was amazing! The location was incredible. We saw the northern lights 2 nights in a row! Ardur and family were lovely and went above and beyond, we even went to pat their gorgeous horses.

Wow what a beautiful home! We had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The hot tub and sauna were great. Great place to see northern lights- we had our best views of our whole trip here!
