The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

Spend some time in our new croft apartment on the shore of beautiful Loch Migdale. Go touring, walking, bird-watching, mountain-biking, cycling, kayaking, paddle boarding or fishing in the day then relax on the decking in the evening. With plenty of attractions nearby you can enjoy the best of Sutherland and the North Coast 500 from this quiet, but well connected, location. A variety of dining options are available locally or simply provide for yourselves in the well equipped kitchen area.

A wonderful semi detached cottage on an elevated position with stunning panoramic views looking across farm land and hills toward Ben Wyvis and the Ross Shire Mountains. Spectacular sunsets can often be seen and, if you are lucky, the Northern Nights on a dark, clear night. Perfectly situated for touring the Highlands including Loch Ness which is less than 4 miles away, Glen Affric and further afield to Ben Nevis, Ullapool and Skye, just a short drive from Inverness. Dunglass Cottage is situated on Brahan Estate in the Scottish Highlands 15 miles North of Inverness and on the North Coast 500 route . You will find beautiful scenery and lots of things to do amongst our 4000 acres of countryside. Activities include fishing, bird watching, shooting, walking and stunning landscapes for the keen photographer. Also seven golf courses close by and a wealth of History in the Highlands. We are also very dog-friendly so no need to leave man’s best friend at home!

Foulis Castle Gate Lodge

Foulis Gate Lodge is a Highland cottage on the Gates of an historic, private, Highland estate with its own drive. The secluded location offers direct access to extensive gardens. The nearest amenities are 2miles in Evanton or 5miles to the ancient Burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat 9-5pm). My place is good for NC500 travellers, couples, and business travellers.

The Lodge, Nutwood House

The Lodge is the west wing of Nutwood House, a unique property, once the Factor’s House and part of the Earl of Cromartie estate. Situated in a beautiful, peaceful location on the edge of the Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer, all amenities within 5 minutes walk. Magnificent views across the Peffery Valley. Private garden and many activities to enjoy, forest walks, mountain biking,fishing etc. Nearby places include the renown Rogie Falls.Great location and base to explore the Highlands.

A cute and cosy modernised cottage with hot tub surrounded by fields and with a beautiful river at the bottom of the garden. The house is well situated and has a spacious patio and lawn, enclosed garden with access to walks up the river and other beautiful local areas. A good base to strike out for West Coast and Highlands. We recently added a twin room in addition to our double en-suite and king bedrooms.
