Holiday rentals in Dkhila

Fathi welcomed us into his home, his family took us to discover the village of Toujane, he prepared us for lunch, dinner and the best and most typical breakfast in Tunisia. Toujane was a very pleasant discovery and being with Fathi and her family made it even more special. Thank you!

A landmark experience, Radhouane radiates from a humanist; the collective developed around permaculture and its ecosystem is a reference for all generations. Wonderful hosting, site and accommodation.

Excellent accommodation at Tataouine, from which you can reach the neighboring towns and Berber villages. Beautiful villa just outside the main street, with a beautiful starry sky visible from the courtyard. Mabrouk is happy to host guests for a long time with directions to the city and local customs (including police). Madame Fatma is an excellent cook, hospitable and caring for her guests. We'll be happy to come back here.

I stayed at Leila's place for a night. She and her husband were very friendly, but that was not the least of their positive attributes: for those interested in hiking in Tunisia without having made a definiute plan, please make use of their knowledge. You will thank me later!

A huge thank you to Ayoub and her family for their warm welcome. The place is very quiet, with great views of the surrounding mountains and fresh clean air. Ayoub's Mom had prepared us a great meal for our arrival, with a very fragrant couscous. At breakfast, we received fresh bread prepared by his Mom, as well as local Tunisian specialties (eggs from the house chickens, bsisa, fig syrup, honey and local oil). Thanks to Ayoub, we were able to discover in the region places to see and little known (ksar Zammour, buried mosque, ...).

Staying at Dhaou’s place in Medenine was one of the highlights of our Tunisia trip! The house is truly a hidden gem with a beautiful garden and a charming room that made us feel right at home. The restaurant across the street was incredible, offering delicious local and international food, and Dhaou even treated us to a complimentary breakfast, including coffee, and water - fully free of charge. His hospitality was unmatched—he was the most welcoming host we encountered on our entire journey in Tunisia. Dhaou also helped us organize a tour to the desert, connecting us with his friends, making our trip even more special. I can’t recommend this place enough—an absolute must if you’re visiting Medenine.
