“We had a lovely weekend stay here. The space is clean, cosy, and well kitted out for its size. Only one note I would add is the ceilings are quite low so you might find yourself ducking if you're a giant like myself, should be fine for all normal sized people though! Would recommend the place to others.”
Sparrow's Nest is a delightful newly renovated garden studio with terrace, situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty just metres from The Forester Public House which has the Michelin Bib Gourmand award. Quiet and comfortable, the guest house has been tastefully furnished offering Egyptian cotton sheets, luxurious bathroom products, fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine . There is a patio with a table and 2 chairs overlooking the cottage garden.
“We can thoroughly recommend staying at the Sparrow's Nest, Philippa was an obliging host who went out of her way to make us feel at home (even after arriving late with a hungry baby!). The accomodation itself was furnished beautifully, spotlessly clean and we were provided with all the necessary amenities. A delicious spread was offered for breakfast, including fresh raspberries, croissants and apple juice from the local orchard. Our only regret is not staying long enough to enjoy the surrounding countryside! We hope to stay again and would recommend to those wishing to stay in the area.”

Some DVDs with monitor. Parking on site. “John was a fantastic host, communicate with us very quickly and we felt like at home. He had very nice and thoughtful details along our stay. He made sure to leave the Anexe warm as we were traveling with a baby, left biscuits, milk, cereals, tea, coffee and some refreshments for us. Everything was sparkly clean and found a travel cot for my baby to sleep in. We all felt very comfortable and I can not thank you him enough.”
