Make your break simple in my calm, 2015 built, well insulated, warm holiday home, all on one level. A 5 minute walk into Dornoch with its stylish Scottish stone buildings, Cathedral, pubs, restaurants, cafes & gorgeous independent shops. Its one mile from the stunning beach and famous Royal Dornoch golf course. The house is our personal respite holiday home away from our Scottish Highlands rewilding croft 15 miles away. Dornoch has a special seaside micro climate and is always warmer than Muie!

Nestled at the head of Loch Park, Loch End Cottage is a beautiful cottage in a breathtaking location. It’s entirely off grid, allowing you to relax and unwind in a tranquil setting. The cottage sleeps two, in a cosy king-sized bed, with direct access to a shower room. Downstairs, there is an open plan sitting, kitchen and dining room with log stove and views to the loch. Dufftown is 3 miles, Keith is 8 miles and the village of Drummuir is 2.5 miles Wifi service is limited due to location

Garden Cottage with hot tub, castle & sea views

This charming cottage is completely unique having the old Redcastle ruin as a back drop and views of the Beauly Firth directly in front. There is an idyllic stream going through the garden and we have recently planted a wild flower meadow at the end of the garden. It has been beautifully refurbished in 2023 and we feel incredibly proud of the results. The cottage is located in the sleepy hamlet of Milton of Redcastle and really is an idyllic and very comfortable place to come and unwind.

iolaire is a state of the art bespoke eco house designed by award winning architect Dualchas. With 3 large bedrooms and two bathrooms the house sleeps 6 people and is perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. The contemporary open plan living area and external decking area are fantastic for socialising and entertaining with a backdrop of spectacular uninterrupted panoramic views of the Cairngorms. The house has been recently refurbished for 2019 with the finest luxury furnishings.

Situated on the banks of the River Ness, Wee Ness Lodge is centrally located for all the amenities Inverness has to offer including shops, bars, cafes, restaurants and tourist attractions which are all within walking distance. Wee Ness Lodge’s luxurious interior is decked out in natural materials and fabrics influenced by the Highland landscape. Enjoy the wood-burning stove, sumptuous bedroom with king-size bed, and the river side view which combine to bring a real warmth to the lodge.

Rose Cottage is a spacious, modernised 2 bedroom cottage situated in a peaceful courtyard close to the river Ness and the city centre. Recently fully renovated it is bright with a contemporary style and some unique original features like stone mantled fireplaces. It is just five minutes walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, art galleries, museums and the theatre. Inverness is a small city with canal and river walks and is a great base for exploring the beautiful Scottish Highlands.

The Nissen hut at HMS Owl was originally built in 1941 by the RAF. The Owl is our family home and took us 5 years to restore it. It has been featured on TV and in numerous design publications. HMS Owl is pretty special as is the restored Nissen available to rent. The Hut is cosy, warm and private with large living space and kitchen and large ensuite bedroom. Ardullie Farmhouse is situated on Foulis Estate 2min from Foulis Castle close to Evanton which is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Ardullie Farmhouse is a completely private sanctuary within a mature garden, no neighbours to be heard of and is situated looking over the Cromarty Firth. You’ll love this place because of the privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is great for groups of friends & family.
