Hike in Big Trees State Park, fish at Lake Alpine, picnic along the Stanislaus River, ski at Bear Valley or perhaps drive to Murphys to wine taste and shop.

If you like visiting grandma's, this will be cozy and comfortable. Great for families with kids or 2-3 couples. No Central AC, but one portable room AC upstairs.
