Castle holiday rentals in Doubs

Great stay for a family party. There is enough bathroom for everyone, the kitchen is nice. The garden and trampoline were enjoyed by young and old too.

Not many travelers get to say that they’ve stayed in a chateau like Jacques’ in Thenissey. I live in Dijon and used to work in the area so when I found this accommodation to surprise my mom & brother during their visit, we were all overwhelmed with the simple beauty of this chateau and the countryside around it. Jacques is very kind and welcoming. If we needed anything, he was just a phone call away. He offered to show us around his chateau and we regret not finding the time to do so in our plans. The accommodation is modern and up to date with everything you need, including in the kitchen and two bathrooms. A train does by pass by but you will need a car to explore the region. And come already equipped with groceries and a full tank of gas because the closest supermarket is about 15-20min away! We absolutely loved the moats, “feeding” the fish, the staircase into the basement, and even the chateau-smell that makes this experience absolutely worth it during your visit to Burgundy.

We were welcomed by Gabrielle who is so sweet, kind and kind. We were lucky enough to learn during a short visit, the history of the castle, it was exciting. Charming chateaux. Quiet and beautiful

Thank you for introducing us to your estate and your area. We will keep fond memories of the place and its breathtaking view, Laurence's warm welcome, and various activities accessible all around. The cottage is comfortable and warm with its large living room, a choice that I recommend for holidays for families or groups of friends.

Delightful stay I have visited similar facilities as a tourist many times and have always dreamed of living in one of these rooms. With two wonderful and passionate sister, I was able to fulfill my dream. The breakfast was delicious, and after that we had a fantastic surprise, completely free of charge we had a tour of the entire castle along with the underground

We had a great stay with our family. The cottage is perfect for 4 people: 2 bedrooms including a large one, comfortable bedding, good equipment, charm of old stone stones. The park is very nice, the pool is large (but a little cool at the end of August) and the perfect place to visit Beaune and its surroundings. Very nice welcome too: clear information and easy communication. We recommend!

We enjoyed the absolute tranquility and the castle with its unique nature. We were able to see the area again and again from the castle window and the beautiful garden. Once the stream flooded entire fields, once there was a storm and the wind blew through the walls and we experienced beautiful sunrises. Thank you for everything. Best regards, Karin

Great stay! Funny games, as we had hoped. The nostalgic forties we are loved this regression week:-)

We stayed two nights with our adult children and friends. Plenty of room for all, enjoyed the pool and outdoors. Had lovely meals together in the large kitchen! Wonderful time.

We Loved our stay at Longcourt en Plain, Corrine was a great host, so helpful. We wanted to ride the bikes but one had a flat tyre which was fixed so we could ride the canal in the morning which we appreciated. Beautiful surroundings and castle, and we enjoyed the tour of the castle and the history of the family. There isnt really anywhere to eat so you need to drive to Dijon or Dole , 40 minutes away and book a restaurant in advance. Highly recommend this stay

We had a super nice time here as a family with 5 boys. Wonderfully spacious place and played hide-and-seek with pleasure. No luxury place/decor/amenities, but price-quality ratio was really fine. Wonderful surroundings against the forest. The house was above expectations nice and warm due to wood heating and fireplace. Also nice warm bath and shower. Friendly contact with manager and owner. Overall very satisfied!

Such an amazing experience!! The hosts were very friendly, the room was quirky and very tidy/clean, the grounds were gorgeous and the dogs welcomed us warmly on arrival. Highly recommend having dinner at the restaurant as the food was delicious and made our stay!

We loved our stay here! The staff was friendly and the unique accommodations were exactly what we were looking for. Note that if you stay at this spot, the walk up to the castle is quite steep. In the future, we would likely arrive by car rather than public transit because the last block of walking is exhausting, especially with bags.

Sabine is a very charming and welcoming host. The breakfast is delicious and rich, with home made jams and fresh bread and buns. Highly recommended!
