Guests can use the outdoor area, balcony and outdoor living room but must then share with others who live here. For photography, we recommend the musk ox safari on Dovrefjell. Suitable for those who like a simple lifestyle without too much luxury around them.

The farm Strandheim is located 532 meters above sea level in Kjøremsgrende, in the very south of the mountain village Lesja. The farm produces milk and meat and is located in quiet surroundings with beautiful nature, wildlife and mountains. The river Lågen in the immediate vicinity offers great opportunities for swimming and fly fishing in our zone. Short distance to Dovrefjell and Dombås, among others. At Gorohaugen you have an unobstructed view right into Rondane National Park to the east, and you can rest your eyes on Jotunheimen and the evening sun to the west. The main cabin sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms, and spacious living room with fireplace - as well as sofa group and dining room for 8 people. There is a summer road to the cabin with parking space for 2 cars. Woodshed with outhouse, fire pan, outdoor furniture and wood for fireplace.

Cabin in Grimsdalen

Welcome to our "måssåhuset" which is nicely located in Grimsdalen, with a short distance to both mountain trips and swimming opportunities. Here you have the opportunity to relax completely in the silence you get in the mountains, or spend the days on long trips in the mountains. There are also opportunities for swimming right by the cabin. There is no running water or fixed power. A small solar panel system is installed to get some light in the cabin in the evenings. There is also a gas oven so the possibilities for cooking are there.

New cozy annex for rent

New annex with a living room with sofa bed and kitchen. The kitchen has a mini fridge and gas stove. Quiet, beautiful and open forest terrain with a short distance to fishing/swimming opportunities - only 150 meters from Gudbrandslågen. Great trails in the area. 4 km from Dombås city center. There is a road to the annex. With electricity, running cold/hot water, toilet and shower. There are duvets, pillows and bed linen in the annex. We live on a small farm with pets and a kitchen garden. On the outskirts of the yard on the farm there is a detached house from 1979. The house is family friendly and has a great view. It has 5 bedrooms and associated common rooms. With nature reserves and national parks around us on all sides, it is a good starting point to spend your vacation here. Great hiking terrain, short distance to Grimsdalen a mountain valley with free-range livestock and a rich plant and animal life. It is part of the Tour de Dovre cycling route.

Snøhetta is a day's march away into the realm of the musk ox. Possibilities for a ride on horseback, cycling on Tour de Dovre or walking Pilgrimsleden. Fishing in Kvitdalsvatna or on Hjerkinndammen. 4 km to Hjerkinn station. By car it is 35 min to Oppdal, 25 min to Dombås and about 15 min to the nearest store (Dalholen).

House with lots of privacy and beautiful views

This house has three bedrooms, a cozy living room with an open kitchen and a large balcony with stunning mountain views. The house belongs to our campsite, but because it is about 80 meters from the campsite, there is a lot of privacy, but you can use the facilities of the campsite. The house is centrally located between 3 national parks: Jotunheimen, Dovrefjell and the Rondane. The hiking opportunities and cross-country skiing routes are therefore endless.

Location: Skårbu is located in a free/sunny location on Høvringen in Gudbrandsdalen in an area with cabins, setergrender and hotels/mountain lodges. Høvringen has a shop with an inn located about 700 m from the cabin. There is a daily bus service to Otta. The mountain area has established a network of trails in summer and winter, with access to Rondane National Park.
