Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Downtown Cairo, Bab Al Louq

Overall a good experience, the backyard in reality is not as surrounded by nature as it looks in the photos but it was still fairly quiet and the inside is very cozy.

The condo was exactly as advertised. Other than the natural Egyptian dust (there is no escaping that) , the flat was very clean. It is perfect for a small family looking for a get away somewhere calm and beautiful. It is fairly distant from the heart of Cairo, but that is what we wanted.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

The Boho house is one of the reasons that made me love Cairo. I’m really grateful for taking the decision to rent with Ahmed, Ahmed is truly amazing guy and his way of hospitality is insane, felt like home. The apartment is really cozy is really cozy with an amazing huge outdoor garden that makes it perfect, really was amazed of how green is the house and that fits all the furniture vibe.. Literally you will not need anything, the house is ready with all the equipments you can imagine, even the coffee machines, all the apps on the TV, really made it very easy to enjoy my stay like how i’m stay at home, even better. Not to talk about the location, the house is almost 5 mins away from all well known area, Cairo festival mall, Katameya downtown, all the coffee shops and restaurants, really the location was the best, made me discover a lot of areas in very short time. grateful to know someone like you Ahmed, really thank a lot for everything and the hospitality you gave, see you soon 🙌🏼

My family and I had a great time staying at Ahmed’s place. The place was spacious and very comfortable and has a great view. It is very close to some wonderful restuarants which are all about 5 - 10 walk away. Ahmed was a great host and very prompt in responding to any questions I had. Definately worth the money. One point to raise and this is beyond Ahmed's control they closed the walk way along the Nile. Appears they doing some work so you could not use the walk way right next to the Nile. This did not destract from the great time we had. Would recommend this place.

My stay in this apartment was one of the best stays I had in Cairo. Since I saw the pictures, I was curious that this apartment actually existed with these wonderful specifications. The apartment was in a beautiful and quiet area close to new places, luxury complexes and wonderful restaurants. The apartment is distinguished by its large space and beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the golf courses. (Note that it has more than one terrace. ) Everything was in its place and really clean. Highly recommendable!! The apartment is located in one of the newest areas of the city, the surroundings are beautiful and its extremely safe. The location is very good, a few minutes away from the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. Also, you have a lot of amenities around including a mini-market in the compound. Our host Khalid was very responsive and helpful. The apartment itself is very spacious and comfortable, specially if you are a big group. The terrace is breath taking so, if you are looking for a place where to have some time off you have just found it!

It was a beautiful experience being with at the place . I was very understanding and the place was full of life and positivity. The staff was very cooperative and wonderful.

The apartment was beautiful and clean. Fatema the host, was very cooperative, kind and highly responsive. The apartment is located in the heart of downtown Cairo, just a short walk from the Egyptian Museum and the Nile, as well as many other major tourist attractions, which made exploring the city very convenient. The only downside was the noise, which is quite expected for a place in such a central area. Check-in and check-out were extremely easy through the key box. Overall, I would like to thank everyone involved for their great efforts.

Omar is simply the best Airbnb host worldwide, no doubts about it. He helped us so much for everything even with our pets, he is extremely friendly, always in a good mood. I can ensure that if I come back to Cairo I will go back to his apartment. Omar is not only a host but he definitely became a friend 🙏🏻

This apartment was perfect for the month we needed a space in Cairo. Nasr City is quiet and easy to navigate, while still near all of the tourist activities in Cairo and Arabic centers. Mohamed gave great restaurant recommendations, and included interesting information about local holidays that occurred during our stay.

The host was amazing. We had couple of incidents, but she was amazing and the way she handled things she was so very nice very considerate and very understanding. Thank you so very much for being a great hostess I appreciate it very much thank you LOLA HARGRAVE

Lovely area. Very safe and friendly. Close to shops and amenities. Fadwa and her co-hosts were helpful and responsive. They even accommodated our arrival around 11.30 pm

Every room and living room has a balcony with a view of the Nile River. Both floors have tables and chairs for us to sit down and enjoy. It's really great! The house is clean, very large and comfortable. Great Host, smooth communication. It's a short taxi ride to the museum. There is a supermarket nearby, and the restaurants are a little further away, about 10 minutes walk.

The host was very friendly and helpful, the place was clean and met all our needs, I highly recommend staying in this place.

We had wonderful stay at Ahama place The apartment is just perfect and clean. I spent 7 days in his apartment which was very well equipped with everything you could need. The location is great and convenient for walking around. It’s a walking distance from supermarket, pharmacy and just about everything you can think of. Bassem is a really good host. He is very friendly and helpful and reacts super fast. His apartment is amazing. We stayed there for the second time and it has a lot of space and an amazing rooftop terrace. The location is great, there are a lot of restaurants reachable in walking distance. We will definitely come back again.

Fantastic stay at Mohameds place! Outstanding host who is always available and ready to help. The flat is situated in a great area close to all amenities and very safe and friendly neighbourhood. I felt straight away at home, very spacious flat with everything needed there. I would recommend this flat 100%!!

I recommend dealing with Mr. Ahmed , the apartment is arranged and very interested in cleanliness And Professor Ahmed is a respectable human being and his dealings are sophisticated and fast in responding to the guest and very generous. I faced a simple and insignificant problem. His response was very high and very keen. He also embarrassed me. God also sent some sweets as hospitality.
