The house was built in 1691 and what is now Townfoot Byre would have originally housed animals. However, it has now been converted it into a charming and cosy bedroom suite with its own small kitchenette and bathroom. Guests get full use of the large garden and woodland to take in the stunning view. If travelling by train our advice would be get a taxi from the station as can be difficult to find on foot . Guests are welcome to park up as early as you want before check in or drop luggage off in a safe place,but please let us know in advance.
