Welcome to our barn conversion which we hope will provide you with the perfect escape, a base for your countryside adventures or a bed after exploring nearby towns and cities. Located on a working dairy farm the barn was converted in 2019 into 2 separate apartments each accommodating max 4 people. At the moment only the ground floor apartment is available to guests. Perfectly located with easy access from the M1 motorway, an hours drive from Dublin and Belfast and only 8 min by car to Dundalk.

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Marianne Cottage at Johnsfort House. This recently renovated stone cottage is cosy and inviting especially with the sun shining on the patio or the stove lit inside. The exposed stone walls, limestone hearth and deep blue painted walls are just some of the features of this beautiful cottage. Across the courtyard is Bartholomew's Loft (go to Airbnb Bartholomewsloft), an upside down space, another fabulous place to stay in the heart of The Boyne Valley.

Bright, airy, cheerful and well decorated loft apartment, one bedroom with King-size bed and sofa that converts to a single (3' 6" wide) or double bed (4'8") in the sitting room. There is a shower en-suite with w.h.b and WC. A fully-fitted modern kitchen c/w fridge, washing machine, electric hob, oven microwave, kettle and toaster. 46" flat-screen Sky Q television (all channels) along with Free WiFi. We have 3 No. separate accommodations (can hold 9 to 10 people, no hens or stags.)

Central location within walking distance of Dundalk town centre, shops, racecourse, pubs and restaurants. The apartment has adequate space for bicycles or fishing tackle, with a ground floor ensuite bedroom and upstairs sofa bed for extra guests.

The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. The Lodge can fit 5 people comfortably. There are 2 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms. The first one with an ( American) Queen size bed, and the second with a double size bed. There is an office with a daybed that can sleep an small adult comfortably, and it has a full bathroom next to it.

We are less than 5 minutes walk to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants on the seafront of the village, from where there is a regular bus service in to Dundalk.
