We had a great stay at Ciamaenor. The house is in a beautiful location, spotlessly clean and plenty of toys for the kids which was grately appreciated. The garden with the hot tub is a real treat.

The Limehouse Cottage

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Limekiln Cottage is so unusual, it's hard to capture. An old cottage uniquely situated on a river, the river practically runs under the house. Oodles of room. We went for Christmas and the cottage was decorated with a beautiful tree and lights.Highly recommended. Also Andersons Boathouse restaurant in Killybegs also worth a visit.

Seaview Cabin

NiamhRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had the most beautiful stay at our cabin. I wanted to get away with my partner and little dog Alfie to destress and spend quality time together before returning to work and what a place it was to do this! Bundoran is only a 5 minute drive from the property, giving Alfie plenty of space to run around, though the garden where the cabin is was also enclosed and safe. The hosts provided some great recommendations for dog friendly places in the local area too. The cabin its self was the real WOW. It was cosy, clean, warm and the hot tub was fantastic. I only wish we could have stayed longer, we will definitely be back! Thank you to Lorcan & Tara for a beautiful, stress-free weekend in breathtaking surroundings.

Conor’s place is amazing, it is set in incredibly beautiful surroundings and you can see for miles. You do need a car to get to most places but everything you need is within a 10 minute drive. The hot tub has an amazing view, the house is incredibly spacious and well equipped. Could not fault our stay!

Perfect Couples Retreat with private Jacuzzi

AnnaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Patricia and Chris were absolutely delightful hosts. We had a great time at the cottage. They were great with suggesting activities and local restaurants, as well as nearby walks and generally super helpful with any questions or requests we made. The location is phenomenal, with some stunning views from the bedroom balcony! The cottage is very cosy, with a gas fire that's easy to operate, and the bed was incredibly cosy! Loved the jacuzzi! The cottage is about a 15-20 min drive from the nearby towns, so a car would be essential to be able to come and go freely. Last but not least, it's great to find such an amazing place that is also dog friendly :)

Wonderful stay, unique and charming. The Hen House is truly amazing. It has all the comfort and coziness, and is perfect for 2. Robert is just the gentleman. Very welcoming, and so are the donkeys and the guinea fowl. Would most highly recommend. Close to so many beautiful places.

Cosy cottage with amazing views of the Galtees

CatherineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Patrick was friendly, welcoming and helpful, also flexible with my check in time. The weather was very cold and he liit the fire ready for my arrival and kindly did the same the next day as he knew when I was coming back. This accommodation is so much nicer than any hotel as it's home from home. I would love to stay again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a great location and a really considerate host.

Knockbroughaun Restored Stone Farm Cottage

KendallRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We’ve been traveling Europe for 6 months, and this was our all-time favorite stay! We got to spend Christmas at the cottage, and Pat and Mary made us feel right at home. We were greeted with scones and fires and Christmas decorations, and both Pat and Mary went out of their way to look after us and provide wonderful, local recommendations. We enjoyed visiting them at their bookshop-cafe and getting to know them throughout our stay. The cottage is incredibly cozy - comfortable beds and couches with two, large fireplaces - and the location itself was ideal. The kitchen is very well-supplied, and the showers were always warm. We could get into Galway city easily, or head deeper into Connemara to explore the Irish landscapes. Oughterard is a lovely town, and it had great restaurants and grocery shops and (of course) the bookshop-cafe! Highly recommend!

Mamore Cottage (Mary's)

LindaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is our fourth stay in the cottages and we are already looking forward to going back again. I cannot put into words the feeling of peace and happiness I feel as soon as we drive up to the cottage front door. My husband accidentally locked us out when we went to the beach and within 20 minutes of contacting Danielle she arrived with a spare key. Nothing is too much trouble for these amazing hosts.

LAHARANDOTA - The Artists' Studio

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Me and my partner (plus our two baby chihuahuas) had an amazing getaway, we booked the Studio for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday, but extended our stay up for 8 nights. We immediately fell in love with the place: it’s so unique, peaceful and cozy. You can see how much effort was put in this property. We especially loved the bedding: pillows and duvet felt like softest clouds. I also personally loved how well equipped was the kitchen: lots of nice cutlery, plates and tea/coffee sets were so cute. There’s also a lot of DVD’s, a nice set of board games and a mini library. We spent our evenings playing checkers and domino and watching some good old movies. Julie is a such a nice person and an amazing host - easy to communicate with, helpful and so quick to reply. Loved how much information we had about the surroundings: hike routes, shops, cafes. Thank you so much, Julie. We will definitely come back :)

The Old Sawmill, Lough Eske

JulieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A truly magical place. The Mill is so cleverly and beautifully restored - modern amenities in a rustic and cosy home. It was warm, comfortable and welcoming and it had everything we needed. It is a house we are happy to do nothing in but soak in the atmosphere and the idyllic surroundings so it did not matter whatever the weather was! Rose looked after us very well with her recommendations of things to do and even organised for delicious fresh seafood delivered to us. Love love this house and its location. Thank you for having us, Joe and thank you for taking care of us, Rose! We will be back.

Catherine's Cottage @ Ross Castle Galway

AlannahRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This was the most wonderful place to stay and we could hardly bear to leave. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable and homely and as for the swimming pool, the billiards room and the grounds, we could not get enough. Our only regret is that we didn't have enough time to go out in the boat - we'll just have to come back. Thank you, Marshall, for being so welcoming and hospitable.

Quilty Holiday Cottages

BredaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We arrived on Friday earlier than expected & there was no problem with checking in early, Patrick had the heat on for us as the weather was wet & windy this was a lovely touch, the cottage was so cosy & spotless, with the most amazing sea views. Nothing was ever an issue, the boy's wanted to use the pool & Patrick would have it open & ready for them. The weather wasn't great but it added to our experience watching the wild Atlantic waves from the comfort of the house. All 6 of us had a lovely weekend, Thanks for everything see you again hopefully.

Residence Apartments @ The Montenotte Hotel

BrodyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Lovely hotel with beautiful views, garden, bar and restaurant. Landscaping work being done near the bottom of the hotel was a minor inconvenience with noise but the quality of the rooms and hotel makes up for it. It’s a solid walk to the MacCurtain precinct but fine if you’re able bodied. We’d stay here again as I’m sure the work is only temporary.

Old World Converted Stables with Swimming Pool.

LaraRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Truly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at. How did we get so lucky? I mean, luck of the Irish sounds clichĂ© but this was really something special. I came with my two rather wild boys and Sarah went out of her way to help me. She was incredibly generous to offer us a ride from the airport so that I didn’t have to worry about anything. She even tracked our flight and timed the pickup perfectly. I just consider this above and beyond. The hospitality was unmatched. My boys felt right at ease with her. We were able to enjoy the apartment with the many games and massive dvd collection. The boys loved playing legos and pool. We also enjoyed the pool and I was lucky enough to use the sauna twice. I love the flat: so beautifully designed with cute themes to each room. Books I’d love to read if I didn’t have such wild kids. Linens were heavenly. Kitchen is just what you need. Neighborhood is delightfully quiet. Could have stayed longer easily. Great first stay in Dublin!
