On the edge of the center of Hoogeveen, you will stay in our spacious and bright studio in the garden house with an open kitchen, bathroom, comfortable sitting area, dining area and wonderfully large bed. Come and enjoy the beautiful Drenthe. Discover the Dwingelderveld, cycle through the Reestdal or visit one of the picturesque villages nearby. You can safely store your bicycles in our garage, and for short rides, we have loan bicycles for you. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. We are looking forward to your arrival!

The Front House of our national monumental farmhouse has been renovated into a full luxury suite with its own amenities. The original details, such as the high ceilings, the bedstee walls and even an original bedstee you can sleep in, have been preserved. No less than 65m2 with its own kitchen, spacious living room and separate bedroom with freestanding bath. Toilet and spacious walk-in shower. With the option to use the hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower for an additional fee, you can relax and unwind

Shepherd's Hut, tiny ecohouse near Dwingelderveld

Peace and Quiet. In our atmospheric ecological Shepherd's hut you can enjoy the Ruinen forestry in the front garden and the Dwingelderveld in the backyard is a 10minute bike ride away. Your accommodation has 2 comfortable beds, shower and compost toilet and a kitchenette with fridge. WiFi available. LIFE RHYTHM simple life close to nature!

In the cottage you live basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, just landscaped food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, chickens, running, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

De Roode Stee Grolloo (private entrance)

Our B&B offers you a spacious apartment (45m2), lockable, on the 1st floor with private entrance. This makes contactless stays possible. Kitchen with 2-burner stove, oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. Through the landing, you enter your own bathroom with sinks, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 persons, there is a second living/bedroom in the apartment available (25 m2 extra) Pets are allowed only after consultation.

Price: incl. breakfast + Wifi! Lots of nature with walking / cycling opportunities. There is a car charging station at 800 m. 7984 NM. Tea and Senseo unit included. Lunch E 5,- Dinner E12.50 ask about the possibilities and pass on diet/wishes. In addition to the extensive breakfast, which is included, fresh baked bread rolls and filtercoffee with backed eggs can be prepared by appointment at the agreed time. This service will be charged at 4,- p.p. extra upon departure.

This comfortable holiday home is located directly on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/gate or rules. The houses in the park are both permanently inhabited and rented out for vacation. You can walk, cycle and mountain bike to your heart's content in the area. Cities such as Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easy to reach. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Steelhouse - your forest escape by the lake

Unwind at this serene, secluded escape. Our Steel House, elevated on stilts, offers privacy and a rare connection with nature. Relax in the sauna for a peaceful retreat. At its highest point over the water, a sitting area with a 360º wood stove keeps you cozy. Enjoy movie nights with a beamer and speaker for extra entertainment. Outside, a spacious wooden deck with a sun lounger, outdoor dining table, BBQ, pizza oven, and a stunning lake view awaits.

Welkom in ons unieke tiny house, verscholen in een privébos aan de rand van het charmante Friese dorp Noordwolde. Deze moderne accommodatie is ideaal voor rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers. Geniet in de zomer van je ruime prive tuin met zitgedeelte, een veranda en een hangmat tussen de bomen. In de winter zit je heerlijk knus binnen bij de houtkachel die de ruimte binnen no-time verwarmd. De tinyhouse is compact maar van alle gemakken voorzien!

Our lovely house is an old renovated farm, with all the comfort of today. The holidayhome de Drentse Hooglander has its own entrance, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a well equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with tv( netflix), a private garden and terrace. Our farm was built completely new in 2015, we live in the back house and the front house is furnished as a vacation home. 5 private parking spaces, a spacious garden with terrace where you can sit comfortably. 1 bedroom on the ground floor with private bathroom, the other 4 bedrooms on the first floor with shared bathroom.
