Classy penthouse with terrace in the heart of Gent

A guesthouse in style for people with style. Our high-end duplexapartment is very accessibly located in between the 'Kouter' (rectangle square where the Flemish Opera is) and the medieval center (St-Bavo-Cathedral, Graslei, Korenmarkt, Gravensteen to name a few highlights). Brand new, comfortable and classy, with a library-staircase which is not only an eyecatcher. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sunny terrace! We called our gem "LaCasitaBelMundo”, just adding the dot Gent, to get the full picture.

A spacious bedroom showcases a detailed wood headboard, complemented by a large, plush bed dressed in soft linens. Natural light enters through multiple windows, highlighting light-colored walls and wooden flooring. A cozy textile is draped over the foot of the bed, adding warmth to the space.

From our centrally located apartment, the cozy and lively Ghent is within easy reach. The location right next to Gent-Sint-Pieters Station means that you have connections by train, tram, bus and taxi, right at the door (1 min). The cozy and safe neighborhood offers a 7/7 supermarket, shops, bars, restaurants, night shop (all 1 min away) and a green city park with playground in the immediate vicinity. The street is low-traffic and therefore remarkably quiet. The apartment offers every comfort.

Check-in Monday - Friday: 18:00h check-out: 12:00h Check-in Saturday - Sunday: 14:00h check-out: 11:00h Day of check-in you can use the option to dropp luggage, parking space and bikes before 18:00h. Option available from 12:00h! We are both working as teachers fulltime during the week. We prepare and clean the rooms after the working hours. That's why our check-in starts in the evening.

Het appartement omvat 2 mooie slaapkamers, 1 met dubbel bed en 1 met twee enkele bedden. Er is een volwaardig plooibed en een zetelbed op de overloop. Het appartement heeft een afzonderlijk toilet, een praktische badkamer met inloopdouche en dubbele wastafel. Er is een handige berging met was-en strijkfaciliteiten.

In a 5-store old city center house build in the 1800s, the lowest streatlevel floor where then in those days the kitchen personal and the maids lived, is completely rebuild in 2022 to a 88m2 guest appartment with all comfort you need to make your visit to Ghent perfect. Very nice studio in a great location!

Recently renovated studio with wooden floors and high ceilings. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood between UZ, de Sterre and Gent St-Pieters railway station; tram stop around the corner (line 3 towards Gent railway station and Gent city centre). Flexible check-in (contact the host) Public parking nearby. Ghent St-Pieters Station is 15 min. away on foot. If you want a pleasant stay in the most beautiful city of Flanders, I would say don't hesitate... this is the perfect base!

Our house is the old house of the architect in the village of Haasdonk. On the ground floor, we have set up our Airbnb, where the drawing tables used to be. Haasdonk is still a green lung, located between Ghent and Antwerp. It is the ideal base for soaking up culture, art or history in either city. Or visit Hof ter Saksen, our beautiful park forest, the Haasdonk fort or hike and mountain bike on one of the many trails in the Haasdonk woods.

Studio within walking distance of the city center (20'), the Flixbus stop and a station (12'), a bus stop (3'), butcher, convenience store, supermarket, hip brown café and cheap trendy lunch restaurant. In a quiet wide street with little traffic and lots of trees. Safe neighborhood. The studio is located on the top floor (2nd) & is completely private. You can put your bikes in the hallway and park for just 3.5 euros/day.
