Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood!

Get away from it all if you are wanting peace and quiet. Beautiful walks in open country on the doorstep. Explore Cambridge, Suffolk, Essex. Imperial War Museum Duxford and Audley End House. 3 acres of landscaped gardens of 16th century timber framed former farmhouse where friendly owners live. Rail for London station 5 miles, Saffron Walden 3 miles Lovely traditional barn. If you want white & modern, this is not for you, if you want warm & traditional this is a winner. (Guest review 7/22)

A cozy top floor apartment close to the canal. Five minutes walk to train station & town. Bedroom includes a double bed, side table, lamp, dressing table, wardrobe, drawers. Bedding & towels are included in your stay. Free parking available for one car in the car park with permit. Kitchen: fully equipped with oven, grill, microwave, kettle, utensils, baking trays, slow cooker, rice cooker, George Foreman grill and electric hand whisk. No casserole dish. 4 guests possible, just ask.
