Holiday rentals with lake access in United Kingdom

We had a super stay. Excellent communal space, lots to do. Bedrooms very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms excellent. The hot tub, pool table and canoe kept everyone entertained!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house was in a lovely location within the facility with gorgeous views of the lake. The whole house was warm and cosy and had everything we needed. It really suited us with a toddler. Plenty of books and games and there were tennis rackets and table tennis bats if we needed them. Instructions from the owner were clear and she was very responsive to any questions we had. She provided us with lots of information about the surrounding area including recommendations for places to eat and attractions to visit. Thank you Jayne.

Ticked all our boxes. We found the steps down to the Boathouse were a bit daunting. We are in our 70’s, my husband is disabled and my knees aren’t great and we had a suitcase and several bags! But once we opened the door into the Boathouse well, wow!! All that was soon forgotten. The view alone is fantastic,fabulous, superb, amazing, all of those. The excavation next door wasn’t a problem either. We certainly would like to return one day.

We had the most wonderful stay at Loch View House! The location is incredibly serene and scenic and the house itself is gorgeous with really thoughtful touches! The place was big enough to host all 12 of us, including kids and each room is perfectly decorated! Ema was incredibly friendly and on hand to help too! We’ve made some incredible memories that we’ll treasure forever.

We had a fantastic getaway in the Cotswolds! The place was beautiful and impeccably clean. There were excellent facilities nearby, including a lovely cafe, shops and restaurants. The surrounding walks were also wonderful, making it an ideal location for nature lovers. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and explore the area!

Overall, was a wonderful stay!. the place was wonderful and we really loved the kids toys/books. We would definitely consider coming back.

A beautiful house in a stunning location, could not think of anywhere better to spend New Year. The location was amazing, next door is currently being refurbished but this wasn’t a problem as it was the holidays, there were no workers on site. I can only imagine once this work is completed the property will be even more amazing than it is already. The gardens are magical, but the advice to be careful and watch small children is useful as it is steep and not suitable for everyone. It rained none stop while we were there (can’t help the weather) so the large hallway was great for drying the dogs snd leaving our mountain of coats, hats and boots. There was a small issue with the hot water but Kate responded immediately and sorted it out straight away. To top it off there were four separate firework displays in Grasmere which we could see from the front window, lighting up the lake. A brilliant New Year. We have already checked if it’s available for next year but someone beat us to it!

This house offers both proximity to lovely Cotswolds towns and a holiday atmosphere with easy parking, leisure activities, walking paths and so on. It worked very well for my family Christmas trip; the house is appealing and we loved the presence of so much wildlife right at the end of the jetty off the living room. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped and we had a lovely time in the mist.

Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. Really great location to get into Portsmouth via the ferry. Lovely clean flat with super comfy beds. Host had kindly left tea and coffee etc. The Bakehouse bar/ restaurant round the corner on the waterfront is worth a visit. Great communication from owner. 100% recommend.

It was our second time staying in Susan's and Sean's and we would certainly stay again. I cannot fault the place it was cosy and warm and the fresh milk and brickies were a lovely touch. Susan went above and beyond to make our stay as seamless and comfortable as possible. With just a 5 minute walk into the town centre it was a great location with plenty of parking in front of the accommodation.

Lorraine's place was brilliant, better than we expected, the apartment was very luxurious. In a great location we could walk into the town/ city center, to the cathedral for the choir service, walk to the Albert dock, to the bars. Basically we had one of the best Christmases ever, Lorraine very kindly put a tree and decorations up for us. The views from the apartment were stunning. We would defiantly stay there again and probably will. Thanks Lorraine kind regards Graham and Julie.

This is a great place, right in the heart of Dalavich, at a very reasonable price. The accommodation is clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The hosts are great, friendly and informative. Dalavich is beautiful and a great place to visit. We had a fantastic time. I would stock up with provisions before you come and bring them with you though. I would highly recommend this accommodation and the location.

Thank you Emma &Gregor we had such a lovely time at your beautiful cottage . It was restful and peaceful with beautiful walks. A stunning location and the cottage was everything we could have wanted . The home made brownies and Prosecco were the icing on the cake . We would definitely visit again.

Just home from three days at Maple Leaf cottage with family. The cottage was tastefully decorated throughout and spacious and immaculately clean. Best of all was the location. Just two mins walk from both the rail station, buses and local pubs. Plus only a mile or so from Bowness pier.

We had an amazing weekend at mark and Ruth’s cottage. We regularly use air b&b and this was our favourite. The cottage was so authentic and homely, beautiful surroundings and the hosts were so lovely! Even left us post hike treats. The grounds are gorgeous and well kept and we had everything we needed and more. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Last week we had the pleasure of staying in Wren Cottage for 3 nights. Prior to our arrival Daphne, was super proactive in sharing detailed information in preparation for our stay and there was further information upon our arrival, with some great recommendations for local walks, one of which we explored on our final day. Wren cottage itself was spotlessly clean, warm, cosy, comfortable and very well equipped. However the real highlight for us was its beautifully tranquil location and direct access onto the stunning Coniston lake, where we were able to fully immerse ourselves in nature through both sitting by the lakeshore and paddle-boarding. We will definitely look to return to Wren in the future and would recommend it to anybody looking for a nourishing, country escape.

A beautiful and stunning place to stay. Gail and Tom massively helped us out when we had a tyre blowout on our drive from Kent by accepting our delivery of groceries. Absolutely stunning place during January and easy access to the lake if you’re a keen cold swimmer. So many nice places to walk nearby. The cafe is really nice too. Well worth checking out inversnaid falls 10 mins drive away too. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be making a comeback soon.

Beautiful cottage with a stunning view down Loch Tay to Kenmore. Peaceful surroundings with red squirrels within the grounds. Would love to stay again.
