Cabin in the middle of the wilderness

Lieksa's jongun River is a wilderness cabin by a peaceful pond, in the middle of the cornice. Great berry picking, mushroom picking, fishing, and hunting grounds right at the cottage door (purse-lacla). The cottage has electricity. Nearby historical and hiking destinations include Rukajärventie, Änäkäinen, jongun river, bear trail, and recreational fishing and hiking area. ask for autumn weekends with a message, they are negotiable even though they are provisionally closed for your own use. No access to running water during freezing weather.

Small sauna cabin on its own beach, "Hyväntahtonen"

The beach cottage is located 2 km from the main road, on the border of Pihtipudas and Viitasaari. Sauna, swim and relax, even along the way, or stay longer! You can stay in the cottage on the loft and in the cabin. Air heat pump and fireplace. Wood-fired sauna. Tap water is potable. Clean outdoor toilet in the outbuilding, where a new ecological and hygienic burning toilet seat will be installed in spring 2026. You will have access to a gas grill and a rowboat. The basic reservation includes bedding for one double bed for two people.

Kallavedenranta

A high-quality and atmospheric log villa on the shore of Kallavesi. A quiet, beautiful place with a view of Kallavesi and close to nature. The cottage overlooks a beautiful and illuminated lighthouse. The cottage was built in 2002 and has been well maintained. The property is a regular cottage, not a hotel. Ideal for summer and winter accommodation. There is a rowboat on the beach. The cottage has a living room, kitchen, bedroom, sleeping loft, electric sauna, shower, dressing room, toilet, air heat pump and a large fireplace.

Villa Juurus log cabin with whirlpool

In this unique and peaceful cottage, it is easy to relax while looking at the beautiful lake landscape. Cottage 55m² and new 30m² yard building as well as a large terrace and barbecue area on the beach. Air heat pump and fireplace in use. Close to good fishing, berry picking, and outdoor terrain. Kuopio 35 km, Riistavesi 10 km. The renter has access to a paddleboard and a rowing boat, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. If necessary, linen/towel rental 10€/person, final cleaning 80€ extra. The price includes the use of the hot tub.

Cottage on the shore of Lake Hako

Electrified cottage with a good lake view. Large terrace, summer kitchen, outdoor sauna, fire pit (by agreement), several campfire sites, gas stove, gas grill, refrigerator and a small freezer compartment. Space for a group of 6 people. There is a rowing boat with an electric motor. Running water from the lake. (There is drinking water in a canister in the cottage.) The sauna has electric travel showers. Fishing in the lake and small game hunting (by agreement) is possible. For long-term guests, laundry service is available.

Log cabin on the shore of Lake Pielinen

Beautiful log house on the shore of Lake Pielinen. A quiet location, stunning scenery and good outdoor opportunities best describe this place. In winter, you can access the ski slope from the ice in front of the cottage. In addition, the ski slopes of the Timitra ski resort are within walking distance of the cottage. In the courtyard of the cottage, there are good downhill skiing opportunities, as well as a great setting for winter activities. However, city services are available a few kilometers away.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

Grandma's cottage with sauna

A 100-year-old log cabin with amenities in the courtyard of the main house for year-round living. For guests staying several nights during the heating season, in addition to electricity, there is oven heating. Wood is ready, guidance or heating if needed. Good road connections. Outokumpu is about 10 minutes away and Joensuu is about 30 minutes away. Koli is about an hour away and Valamo Monastery is about 30 minutes away by car. In addition, there is a dog cage outside with a small hut.

The cottage is on the lower part of the property by a private beach. You can relax by the fireplace, go to sauna or go swimming into the lake. There is a central heating and an additional fireplace, indoor toilet, shower and sauna. Drinking water from tap. During summer you can relax on hammock or by the outdoor fireplace. Bathing/hot tub available.

Cozy house (85m2) in a peaceful courtyard. 2 rooms+ sleeping loft and alcove. The house is located in the same yard with the owners' detached house. Outdoor jacuzzi available for extra fee. Pets allowed, let us know about them beforehand. Free WIFI and parking. 2 air source heat pumps, fireplace, underfloor heating. We have beautiful large yard with 2 patios with 2 table sets and sun beds available. Our rowing boat and life jackets, 2 sup paddle boards are at your disposal.

Summer cottage by a lake at Mäntyharju

Nice rebuilt log cottage by lake Siikanen. Cottage is electrified and equiped with cold drinking water and warm shower water system. Peaceful beach opening to direction south. Available a small boat and two SUP-boards. At the yard there is a gas grill and an equipment cottage for firewood and eco wc. Our own summer house is near by (at 150 meter distance) thus help and additional services are often easily found. English and German are spoken by the hosts Timo and Tuula.
