Cabin holiday rentals in Finland

The cabin is very nice and cozy, Aino and Anna are very good hosts, they are very responsive and gave us good tips on what to do in the area. One evening we were lucky to watch northern lights from their pier, which was wonderful, while sitting on reindeer skin :) We also went ice fishing with Aino and Anna and rented some skiing equipment which was a good activity to do during our stay :) Aino and Anna also prepared some fish for us which was very nice. The only disadvantage of the place is that the main road is near the cabin so you can see and hear cars driving by from time to time when outside which disrupts the feeling of nature a bit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this place :)

We had a great stay! The lake view was stunning! Raija and her husband were lovely also. They were very helpful with the hottub and sauna. Place was spotless. Definitely going there again!🤩

Otto's place is a true treasure - A place to feel good with lots of privacy in the middle of nature. The amenities and design of the villa are great and high quality. Jussi welcomed us warmly. We were in the sauna in the hot tube every day as well as ice bathing in the lake. In addition, we were able to marvel at the aurora for 3 days. I'm sure we'll be back! Thanks a bunch

we had everything we needed. the house is stunning and well equiped. you have everything beginning with a fire place, a hot tub, a sauna. a bit of a minus is the location. there are many street light because the house is in the middle of a skiing area. if you want so see the northern lights clearly i would sugest going to a more remote place

We were able to relax superbly in the Marius cottage by the water. Every day the deer say good morning and we were able to go out with the rowboat. The sauna is great. There are lots of pans and ways to barbecue. There is no cooking option, but a kettle and microwave are available. It was a great fit for us. Mariu is helpful and was always available for questions. We will be happy to come back.

We were here for the second time. It was wonderful again. Lotta, Jaana and Laura were helpful and responded quickly. If it were closer to our home, we would come every year. It's a magical place where you can relax and just enjoy the moment.

I highly recommend it, it's a perfect holiday destination, without any disturbance, quiet and beautiful. There is a small river behind the house, although it was still frozen when I came, but I can definitely imagine that it will present a beautiful picture in summer.

The villa swamp is a stunning, museum-like haven of peace and nature. Hunting land can be found nearby and you can really enjoy your vacation in peace. Carrying water and no-electricity is suitable for this place. Alex is great hosts and ready to help if needed. Everything went just as planned.

Our stay at the cabin in Rovaniemi was just perfect! The place delighted us from the first second – it was clean, stylishly decorated and stocked with everything you need (even the little extras like coffee, tea). The location is ideal: quiet but still close to Rovaniemi so we could easily explore everything. A huge praise to Tiina and Juho, who welcomed us warmly and responded quickly to questions throughout the stay. The tips on local highlights were worth gold – we felt like locals! We also particularly liked the cozy atmosphere and the loving details that made the place a real home away from home. We will definitely be happy to come back and highly recommend this oasis! A gem in the middle of nature. Authentically decorated and equipped with a sauna and fireplace, the cottage is the ideal place for a few days of vacation. We spent three wonderful days here. Excellent communication with the host. Thank you Satu! Gina & Dan

We stayed at the cabin by the lake for a week. The location is simply fantastic and super suitable for switching off. Esko went ice fishing with us and rode snowmobiles. That was a great experience. He is a very nice and helpful guy anyway. We were even lucky and could see the aurora lights. The cabin is definitely recommended. We also liked our own sauna.

beautiful house, located in the middle of a forest in a beautiful quiet area. i highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Lapland. fully equipped house with sauna, sleds, skiing , biking for entertainment.

Maxime and Marie are very nice people and super great hosts who always helped us with helpful tips and interesting information. We felt very welcome and at home. The guesthouse is super clean, lovingly and stylishly furnished and well equipped, with everything you need and much more - we really enjoyed walking with the snowshoes, smoking fish, ice fishing and romping with the huskies:). The private sauna is one of the nicest where we have had the pleasure of sauna - overlooking the icy lake - where we could cool off in the ice hole. At the end of our stay, we were even lucky enough to watch sensational northern lights over the lake. It was a nice 8 days, we would love to come back sometime (also in other seasons).

Our second stay at Leif’s place - so peaceful and beautiful, the woods are wonderful and so many lovely walks. The cabin is very cosy and has everything we needed. Leif is very welcoming, friendly and helpful.

The cottage is like something out of a fairy tale, really beautiful, and the surroundings are admirable. We had a few accidents, but the host's (Jukka's) proactive, understanding, and progressive actions helped resolve things quickly. Warm recommendation!

We spent a spring-winter week at Kari Puro-Maja, and we had a great time. The cottage was clean and well-equipped. The yard sauna, stream, and lean-to were a big plus. The neighboring cottages were nearby, but there was still peace of mind. Very charming and atmospheric cottage, I hope we can come back again.

Jukka and Maru's island is a gem! It's situated in a peaceful lake and offers a lot of privacy. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and in great condition. During the day we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, exercised on the pier, warmed up in the sauna and cooled down in the lake. We loved exploring the surroundings by kayak and canoe, and due to the islands relatively remote location, there is little light pollution. One of the most memorable experiences was rowing after midnight, gazing at the milky way above us and listening to the wolves howling in the background. Life really slows down on the island, time becomes irrelevant. We highly recommend this place to anyone seeking peace in the beautiful Finnish nature. As hosts Jukka and Manu were warm, welcoming and very responsive. We immediately felt at home! They provided lots of great recommendations and were in touch even after a storm to check if we're alright. Kiitos for an unforgettable stay at your mökki! :)
