Without crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. The house is located in the most beautiful spot in the Netherlands, in the middle of the beautiful nature reserve De Weerribben. Located directly on the water, there is every opportunity to rent boats, canoes, bicycles or a sup. The farm is located on the Zuiderzeepad and many bicycle junctions. The spacious apartment has 2 separate bedrooms for a total of 4 people. Optionally, a third bedroom/studio can be booked separately, only in combination with the apartment. Apartment Grutto is located on the 2nd floor and can accommodate up to 4 people, with living room/kitchen with sofa bed, separate bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is fully furnished and equipped with every comfort. There is plenty of parking space. Furthermore, we are easily accessible by public transportation (5 minutes' walk). There is also a sandy beach on the Tjeukemeer within a 5-minute walk.

Huge windows provide stunning Dutch views onto the river, the grass meadows with cows & sheep and a picturesque village in the distance. The river is quiet water so have a sauna & a swim, take out the kayak, big canoe or SUPboard. We have a heatpump for the floor heating, and used upcycled items such a charming wood-stove, a fantastic bath, a fully-equipped kitchen, bikes, a firepit & trampoline.

Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.
