Wonderful Airbnb and host. Gorgeous views over the little dam with lots of wildlife to enjoy watching from the deck with your morning cuppa. The place is so quiet and comfortable with many small and unexpected luxuries and little extras. You will have absolutely everything you need, including ample firewood and even toasting forks for the provided marshmallows! We loved the breakfast hamper which was incredibly generous and delicious. Genevieve was a very proactive host who clearly cares deeply about the quality of her property and guest’s experience there. She made sure we had the right directions to find her place safely. Check in was a breeze and a lovely guest book answered all our questions and more. We even had a late check out which was such a relaxing way to finish the weekend. I would recommend hilltop to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away- great stay and thanks again!

This is the second time my friends and I have stayed here and my heart is just so full being able to spend time with my loved one in such a beautiful house in the most beautiful location. The view is perfect, the trees are perfect, the house is comfortable and gorgeous. Having a BBQ, a pool and fireplace just ticks all the boxes. I want to make this my regular holiday home. What a beautiful place to stay for a few nights. Close to Daylseford and Kyneton which are lovely to visit, all while staying somewhere very peaceful and quiet. We loved it here, there are kangaroos everywhere. The house is very well fitted out, warm with a lot of room. We loved the pizza that Stephanie made us. Our dog really enjoyed the walks - one thing for all dog owners to note is the very safe and secure yard around the house. Our dog was able to wander around without us having to worry about her getting out of the yard! We will definately be back.

We enjoyed a great working stay at Robyn’s place. The home was very clean and tidy with great rooms for everyone, excellent heating and cooling, and it was close to the centre of Bendigo for all the beautiful parks and restaurants and other things to do. Thanks Robyn :) We would love to stay again when we head that way.

Our stay was great. Very clean and easy to get in. Had a washing machine and dryer which was extremely handy for our situation. Location wise was spot on and very useful for us as we played at QEO across the road the next day. The only thing I would say, and this isn’t a controllable factor, you can hear the night club when everything get quiet. Woke us up around 1pm when the cars were off the road, was hard to get back to sleep with the doof doof music, so if you’re light sleepers maybe stay away on a Saturday night. Was very enjoyable!

Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

Beautiful home close to Lake Wendouree and a lovely stroll to town and cafes. Clare is a great host who was very helpful and friendly to communicate with.

Small but perfectly formed, had everything you need for a short stay. We did find the bed hard and the pillows soft but that is a personal issue. Great location.

Had a great stay at this cottage during the Chillout Festival. At that time, obviously, there were a lot of queers partying in Daylesford, including the immediate neighbours, who we assume were also guests in town for Chillout, so we didn't mind the noise. I assume without a major festival on it would be a lot quieter.
