Medowmore is our family home that has Been made into two. One which we live in and the other is self catering with 2 bedrooms that sleep 6 people. Medowmore is located on our family run croft, there are children, a dog,a cat, a horse and sheep . we are situated in Upper Edinbane in the north west of Skye, which is ideal for exploring the island. Edinbane village has a playpark, a local Inn and lodge.
“Meadowmore in Upper Edinbane is a spectacular flat in a terrific location. The flat itself is clean, large and well outfitted. It overlooks a loch, is quiet and the stars at night are magnificent. Hamish and Sandra are right next door, but inconspicuous. They allowed us to use their washer and dryer any time and supplied fudge, wine and shortbread for our arrival. All the tourist sites are within an hour of driving, including Trotternish Penninsula, Neist Lighthouse, Dunvegan Castle and Cuillin Hills. Meadowmore is near the Edinbane Inn, where we ate dinner twice and heard some great music on Sunday afternoon. The more upscale Edinbane Lodge is also nearby. Portree is about 30 minutes away, but we found that Edinbane was more to our liking. I would recommend Meadowmore to anyone wanting a country experience in Scotland/”
10 Upper Edinbane, is a spacious holiday home on the Isle of Skye. It has two bedrooms, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a shower room with W.C. upstairs and a TV lounge, kitchen, games lounge with double sofa bed available on request and utility room downstairs. The traditional cottage is surrounded by a grassy garden which offers sea views towards Loch Greshornish and out towards the Western Isles on the horizon.
“A fabulous spot for exploring the Isle of Skye. Perfect location for getting out and about and seeing all of the main sites. The Croft has all the basics you might need for a comfortable stay and is a great space!”
21 Upper Edinbane is a cosy and characterful self-catering cottage which overlooks the township of Edinbane and Loch Greshornish on the Isle of Skye. It has three bedrooms, a warm and cosy living room with log fire, a bright dining room with a second log fire and a snug kitchen. This holiday cottage is within walking distance of the Edinbane Inn and Edinbane Lodge and is excellently located for exploring the Isle of Skye and Raasay.
“A lovely cottage with two double rooms and 3 single beds. Log fires in both the lounge and dining room and a well-equipped kitchen. Lots of hot-water and heating, we were always cosy and happy. The cottage is wonderfully set back from the road up a little driveway so you feel properly secluded and have a great view. I'd reiterate the point that the stairs are really just a ladder, so only 'fit and able' people can use them, but there's also a double room downstairs. Also a bit of advise that there's no blind on the one skylight window in the upstairs rooms, so if you're staying in the summer, be warned that you might be woken up early by the sunlight! The management company were really helpful and fixed a problem with the oven really quickly, so be assured that you'll be well looked after!”
