(North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. This is where Giethoorn originated, and the oldest cottages line the path. Without crowds of tourists. (They’re in Giethoorn Zuid.) Here, you can still enjoy the wonderful tranquillity and beauty of the historic village of Giethoorn. Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.

The nature reserve Weerribben-Wieden is only 3 km away and Giethoorn a 20-min. drive. We have rental bikes.

Fully furnished, with a cosy pellet stove and a wood-burning stove, this is truly a place to unwind! The cottage has its own fenced garden, with a wood-fired Finnish sauna, and is adjacent to a forest where you can take a pleasant walk. You can also walk from the cottage to a lovely swimming lake in about 20 minutes.

Furthermore, there are three national parks nearby, NP Weerribben Wieden, the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld.
